When a wand changes its allegiance... She'd read a bit about this too, so she raised her hand once more. "Doesn't it usually change when its owner is defeated or killed in a duel? I don't think it completely changes its allegiance if its owner is only defeated or disarmed though, if the owner retrieves their wand and continues to use it after, and I think there are some wands that won't change their allegiance at all because of the type of wood that's used." Because there was pretty much always an exception to any rule.
