"Just fine." She replied as she stood back up. "I've had worse while practicing dance, but at least we know we can cast the jinx." And that was the exciting part, that they were being successful in magic.
Kourt moved her wand in the squiggly motion. "Flipendo!" She cast.
The tight worried look eased off Harlow's face as the girl told her she was fine. That was good. It wasn't a great start to a friendship if you injured the person. "I love dancing," she giggled. And Kennedy was a great partner, but she didn't want to say that in case he heard and got distracted.
Harlow stood ready for the jinx,
"Protego!" her voice wobbled as she spoke and a light mist flew out of her wand. It was a shield, but a weak one and the jinx broke through and knocked her back and few steps, but she stayed upright.
"That was better." she commented. At least she could cast a shield.
