He brought his legs up, mimicking Ellie's position, and smiled at her. "It is," he agreed. He liked the quiet of this room and the fact that he was alone with Ellie. It was peaceful. Relaxing. Dallin tipped head head back against the chair, turning it so that he was still looking at Ellie. As he did, a thought occured to him. He opened his mouth to ask it, but... closed it again. It was personal, and he didn't know how Ellie would react to it. Sure, he wanted to know and he didn't know why he hadn't thought to ask it before. But... she'd never brought it up. Ever. And it was mostly him assuming things...
Never mind. New thoughts, new thoughts.
Ellie snickered lightly at his response and continued to eat her cookie. There was lots of food to choose from. And he was a teenage boy, and they tended to eat like it was going out of style. So she couldn't really blame him.
It was just nice being here alone. And Ellie was glad that Dallin thought so too. Smiling, Ellie copied Dallin and leaned her head back on the couch. She turned her head so she could look at him too. Just as she did, she saw Dallin open his mouth... and then close it again. Ellie knew what that was. She had noticed before that Dallin sometimes had things to say, but he often changed his mind before he actually voiced it.
"What?" She questioned him quietly with a faint smile.
"Tell me what you were going to say."
