The professor focused in on the young Slythie. "Sierra, please come in and have a seat. I'm sure our two Gryffie friends will be leaving shortly...." she said politely but hintingly as she motioned towards a seat on the couch.
She cocked an eyebrow at the odd way the conversation was starting...there was obviously something else on the young girl's mind. "Well, I'm doing great Sierra. And you?" she said flicking her wand and sending a glass towards the table in front of the empty seat and offering the young girl a drink and a pastry.
Well, there was the invitation to have a seat. She slid into the nearest seat, eying both the Gryffindors as she did so. Then it was just the two of them. It made the office visit a little more comfortable for Sierra, as she wasn't the type of child who was used to such visits. She fidgeted in her seat a little before speaking.
"So, I...realized the other day that I never really stopped by to welcome you to the castle," she started off,
"so first off, even though it's the end of the school year, welcome to Hogwarts." There. That wasn't so bad. See, she could be nice. When she wanted to be, that is.
"I also just wanted to say that if I can do anything to help you close out the year, put way supplies or something, just let me know." Again, not so bad.
"Last, I wanted to know if it was alright with you if I performed my magic trick for homework here," she finished, pulling a clear, glass goblet and a pack of cards out of the pocket of her robes.
