MAJOR SPOILERS!
I went to the midnight premiere and found it very hard to follow because there was so much to watch! It was still very good; I cried for 50% of the movie! Then, I went again about 4 days after and was able to catch everything I missed as well as strengthen my opinion on the movie.
As soon as the opening scene came up I had tears in my eyes. Alan Rickman does a beyond amazing job as Severus. Its heart wrenching, and "Here Lies Dobby, A Free Elf" gets me every time.
The beginning is a bit of a slow, but necessary build up. The dragon in the Gringotts scene is very convincing. The crew did an amazing job. I wish the exhaustion, weakness, and pain Hermione feels after being tortured was more evident, but it seems they sort of moved on.
As soon as the trio gets to Hogsmeade, things begin to pick up. When the trio walks in to the Room of Requirement I always get chills. The original theme song plays and everyone is just applauding them. Its amazing.
The scene when Snape questions the school about Harry's whereabouts is amazing. Minerva steps in and has a bit of a wand fight with Snape. Its completely moving because I expect that Minerva and Snape grew up as teachers together. To see them completely against each other is shocking. Also, Daniel Radcliffe is so strong and lovely in that scene. He stands up to Severus and just tells it like it is. It is so intense.
I cry every time I see the school prepare for battle. It so sad because its so dark and serious. Hogwarts has always been magical and welcoming and to see the students give each other "goodbye" looks just kills me.
HERMIONE AND RON KISS! I am a hug R/Hr shipper. I do wish Rupert moved his big head away so you could actually see more. The angle was a bit disappointing, but I still loved it. It was very romantic and passionate.
Ginny and Harry kill me. They both try to be strong and get on with the battle. One scene she gives him a kiss and says "I know". It's completely sad. It just shows how difficult it is for them.
Luna is amazing! "Harry Potter you listen to me right now!" That's all I have to say. Loved it/her.
There is a large scene where Ron, Harry, and Hermione exit the castle and cut through the courtyad. The battle rages on around them. It is unbelievably UNREAL because its so good. Hogwarts, the home we all grew up in is getting blown to bits and it hurts so much. I found the scene where Fenir Greyback is feeding on Lavender so hard to watch. Lavender is such a quirky, upbeat, character and to see her like that made me realize the seriousness of the battle. I didn't realize the director, producers, etc. were going to take it so far. I was in shock.
Neville, Neville, Neville. The only thing to explain him would be... "Only a true Gryffindor could have pulled that out of the hat." JUST Mind-boggling!
Alan Rickman does give the performance of his life. No one could have gotten through that death scene without weeping. It was completely and horribly gut-wrenching, especially his final words to Harry.
Fred, Tonks, and Remus. They only took a few seconds on their deaths. That was quite disappointing. I wish they showed more with Fred. It was quite like a "glimpse," but still really sad. Rupert and the remaining Phelps twin sobbed so realistically and loud. It was a wonderful, gut-wrenching surprise. Again, it murdered me.
The entire Pensieve scene moved me as well. Daniel Radcliffe does a great job "taking it all in." When he is on his way to the Forbidden Forest, his scene with Emma and Rupert is heartbreaking. Hermione and Ron are so loyal. It so sad because they have to accept their best friend's fate. These are the three kids we grew up watching and now the trio has to end. I am so proud of Emma, Daniel, and Rupert.
Harry's Resurrection Stone scene was another hard one to watch. It really emphasizes Harry's loneliness, growth, and destiny. It is so moving.
Harry and Voldemort's fight scene was brilliant. I am so glad they extended it.
I wish the Neville/snake scene hadn't changed. I also wish he said "I'll join you when hell freezes over!"
Molly/Bellatrix scene was amazing! I didn't like how Bellatrix died though. She looked like a cartoon character. Also, I wish the Ginny/Bellatrix part which causes Molly to step in was bigger. It was too quick.
The trio on the bridge scene was really sad. Its just the three of them taking everything in. I wish Ron played a bigger part though. I really think the movie pushed him to the back too much as Harry's BEST friend.
The epilogue was heart-breaking because THAT is when I finally realized that "it all ends." The crew did a great job making the characters look older. I wish we couldn't caught a glimpse of Neville, Luna, and George, but I guess it's alright. I cried so hard on that last shot and was 100% thrilled to hear the score "Leaving Hogwarts" play in the background. Perfect.

That was a huge spoiler/summary, but I really needed to get it off my chest. Honestly, the movie is completely wonderful. Growing up with this series has been a blessing. I recommend the movie to all, not just to Harry Potter fans.
