Great… nice going, Gwendolyn, she told herself.
Then, the red-haired listened to Presley talk. ‘I do have an extra Andros the Invincible’, she announced. Come on, kid, it’s only an extra card, you can give it up…, she told herself. Anyways, I need to thank Presley in some way for sitting with me, and, more important, that she actually could actually bear me. ‘However, I don’t have Hengist of Woodcroft. Sorry’, she said.
‘Um… I don’t have it in my bag here’ OBVIOUSLY ‘But we could meet sometime, say… this afternoon?’, she said.
She
had Andros? And was offering it to Presley? What??
"What do you want for him? I have a couple of good ones that I could trade." There was no way. A slow smile crept across Presley's face. her second most-needed card, and she was so close to getting it. Meet up in the afternoon? Okay!
"yeah, sure. Maybe I could see you at lunch?" Gwen seemed really nice, and Presley really wouldn't mind getting to know her better. Pleased as she was with the outcome of the potion, she was more glad that she had kind of started to be friends with Gwen. Presley let her mind wander for a moment. Gwen, was that short for something? Or just singular? Presley had wanted, as a child, to be named Gwenhwyfar, but her parents had refused to change it. And much as she hated the Elvis question, Presley really did like her name. She snapped back to focus, and waited for Gwen to answer the questions.
