The words of Mad Glick only making him more willing to fight against the intruder.
Sherman didn't have to hear Barnabas' orders twice, his own wand out once he was swordless. So it only took him a few quick movements of his own to send ropes back in her direction...too many to dodge all at once.
Resist... or play along? Well the decision was made for her as the Gryffindor Captains rope wound around her, binding her arms to her sides and her legs together. Merlin... is this what it felt like to be a mummy?

He scowled. "Ye can have the tratiorus lubbers, Mad Jasper! All ye be walkin the plank!!" Fishlips reached out at the table and grabbed some napkins with his free hand that he quickly rolled... and the napkins soon turned into a bit of rope. Enough to restrain someone with.
It was TOO LATE for being sorry now, this woman was a traitor, and there for had to walk the plank. "Don't try to save yer self now, wench! Ye be headed for Davy Jones locker!!" With his sword in one hand and his rope in the other, he hopped on the table and went after the woman.
Davy Jones locker? well whoever this Davy Jones was Seren hoped he didn't leave his dirty socks in there.
"I... I...." nope it was futile, they would never listen to her.

But before he dropped, Jacob had decided to make a quick detour into the great hall for a bit to eat. Sure Mr. Despera had bought him a butter beer, but he was still starving.
Jacob made his way to the ravenclaw table all the way at the end, closest to the Staff table. And Looked down at the little sections of snacks laid out for people to come by and pick at.
He was about to take a few sugar cookies, when he heard a bunch of yelling, and looked up at the staff table. "Can You Guys Calm Down! I'm Trying To Eat!" he yelled at them. "I Already Have A Headache. I Don't Need You Guys To Make It Worse!"
He had no idea what they were doing, and frankly he didn't care. He just wanted to eat in peace, and collapse in a quiet corner somewhere that no one would bother him for a long long time, And-
Wait... Was that a sword?
GAH! Where had Master Blunt come from? ...
She shook her head in his direction, hoping he would get the gist of the message and run while he had the chance.... Then again, he would probably enjoy something like this.
