Owls ate tuna fish, didn't they?

Walnut's eyes narrowed as some STRANGER came down and tried to pet him without introducing themselves or providing worship first. Humans. Silly creatures. The cat trotted off a few paces away. No, we did not want dirty human hands touching us, thank you. He then stuck his leg out and began cleaning himself.

"Walnut!" Kurumi hissed looking at Josh's robes. Hopefully she could clean them up before Josh got too awake from his nap on the floor. She had distracted him with cookies after all, but Josh was known to devour her cookies within seconds. Standing in front of the mass of...erm...wet fabric on the floor, Kurumi turned her attention back to Thea. "Lush?"

Kurumi then saw her teammate, who she hadn't really spoke to and knew more about him as a flyer than as a person since they had tried out against one another as Beaters during tryouts. "H-H-Hello Jai," Kurumi said bowing a bit as she addressed him. "W-Would you like something to eat or drink?"

Kurumi then saw a very cold looking Ariella on the sofa and grabbed a gold and red knit blanket and threw it around her shoulders. "How do you feel after your first match?" Kurumi asked with a wide smile on her face. Truth was, it was her first match ever as well.

Kurumi really couldn't tell if William was being sarcastic or not considering he had been bad mouthing the team only a few moments earlier and had been ever since the results of the try outs had been posted. Blinking away confusion for a moment, Kurumi managed a weak smile. "T-T-Thank you, William," she replied with a small bow of her head. "It was my first match ever...and I wasn't planning on playing Seeker. Simon said that it suited me best, so I agreed to give it a try. I...I am glad that my first opponent was one of the best. I was able to learn a lot." She then looked around at everyone who was chatting, eating, and just relaxing - forgetting for a moment that there were assignments to do and a match that had been lost. "Selina and I thought it would be a nice way to brighten everyone's spirits. Winter can often make...people feel lonely." She frowned slightly.

Kurumi swallowed and tugged on her hair softly. Boys were...confusing...and she was beginning to miss Adam more and more. She thought that she had put all those feelings behind her, but she was beginning to think that perhaps she hadn't. The past half a year had gone by like a tornado, leaving her a complete mess. She was glad, however, when the first year changed the subject. "He was pretty heavy," she giggled. "I had to drag him across the classroom on my robes because I couldn't pick him up. I didn't even need to stun him either, just kept feeding him tuna fish cookies."

The spark in Kurumi's eyes brightened when she saw Lexi step through the portal and approach her. A smile a mile wide appeared on her face. "Thank you Lexi," she grinned as she felt the blood rush to her cheeks. "I-I didn't really think I would catch one...Ravenclaw is a very good team and their Seeker is so fast." Kurumi looked at the ground and aimlessly kicked away a dust bunny. Seeing Lexi flop down on the sofa, Kurumi giggled as she ran off towards the tea and poured the older lioness a cup - making sure to add honey to it - before flopping down on the sofa next to her and handing the steaming cup to her. "I'd like that very much," she nodded.

OOOOF! Kurumi felt as though her shoulder were going to pop out of its socket. Sometimes, Selina really didn't know her own strength. "If you think I don't need you, then you have had one too many Bludgers hit you in the head," she teased as she threw her arm around her friend. Truth was, these two needed each other, fiercely.
" You did a great job at Seeker and I know you are going to one of the stars when you play Slytherin" William told Kurumi. " Winter can be lonely so it is a good time for a prty" Willaim said to Kurumi. " I amblessed with a great family and a big family so my holdidays and winter go by quickly" William explained to Kurumi.
