And now the Quaffle, "The Quaffle is the red ball, about this big," she held her hands up to about the diameter of the ball, "It's the only ball that doesn't move on its own. The Chasers pass the Quaffle back and forth as they go down the pitch, and try to score it through one of the three hoops that stand at either end."
"But the Chasers aren't the only ones that deal with the Quaffle. Because once the Chaser's go to score, there's the Keeper that has to block the hoops." He was still keeping up, right? It wasn't really that hard. "It still has enchantments on it, though." The Quaffle. "Like, it falls slower, to give the Chasers more time to catch it. And it has a Gripping Charm on it, which makes it easier to catch and hold."
"And the hoops, those are fifty feet high." Nod.
Conan nodded, as he scrawled quickly onto his page. He made a note in his table, and then wrote the whole stay alive part. That was always good. He needed to stay alive when he played.
A slowly charm. That sounded exciting. He could use that on a rollercoaster. Slow down the car mid drop, and build up potential energy. Then drop them, at a speed. The G-force would be awesome.
He made a note of the height. So he had to be that far off the ground? At least.
