Vashti was on her way to the library to get some of her homework done. It was much easier getting it done in the library than the common room. It was much quieter for one, and there was just something about being surrounded by hundreds of shelves of books that made her actually want to finish her homework. With her bag slung over her shoulder, she turned down the next corner and-

"Whoa!"

She managed to stop just short of bumping into someone. Merlin. Did this boy really need to lean against the wall that was this close to the corner?

"Sorry," she said, though she hadn't actually run into him or anything. "Didn't see you there."
