Hiding from Tayla was good. Zara was actually planning to scare Tayla, but oh well. Someone else had seen her.

Tayla straightened up suddenly as she heard a girl's voice.

"Ahoy there." Tayla chuckled.
"Um...I hope I said that right. I'm Tayla." Tayla shook Ronnie's hand.
"I like it a lot actually. Very...mysterious."
She looked around the cabin again. The ominous feeling she had was gone now, but her natural curiosity was still burning.
"Where did that sound come from?" Tayla wondered, forgetting Ronnie for a while.
"Could it just have been Ronnie? But...if it was her, then she would've answered me when I asked...and that sound definitely came from inside this room...but Ronnie had just come in..." Tayla thought all these quickly as she surveyed the room, her wand still out. Not that she could do much with it to protect herself. She was just a first year after all. And they weren't having DADA classes.
Tayla sighed.
"Sorry, but..." she began. Her eyes caught the open book on the chair. She wanted to close it, but hesitated to do it in front of Ronnie. She looked back at Ronnie when Tayla heard her ask about coming to the lower deck.
"Um...sure. I haven't been..." Tayla's eyes furrowed when she realized Ronnie wasn't looking at her. Was she inviting someone else? But there wasn't anyone else there.
"Who are you talking to?" Tayla asked, but at that moment, Ronnie had clutched her stomach in pain (
"Ronnie, what's wrong?") and another girl entered the room, making the floor boards creak loudly again.
"Oh, um, hello there," Tayla said to the girl who was stammering.
"Something's happened to her. Help me get her to the hospital wing," she said worriedly, grabbing Ronnie's arms and trying to lift her up.
