Are your sister and your uncle people I should know, then?" Opaleyes were hardly his area of expertise, of course, but Lachlan prided himself on knowing enough about not only the Hebridean Black but other type of dragons, too.
They were one and the same in the end, really. Kind of like relatives who rarely saw each other and would not really get along.
Sounded a lot like his family.
Treyen couldn't help but eye the magazines the man was arranging and--wait. Was he doing that in alphabetical order? Not even the fifth year boy was
that organized. The books were in alphabetical order, of course, but the Quidditch magazines weren't even arranged by date. Surely, MacFuzzy will freak out if he noticed that.
His eyes were back on MacFuzzy as the man spoke, and Treyen nodded,
"Yes, she worked with them, my uncle on the other hand, has worked with Romanian Longhorns and Hungarian Horntails," no Ukranian Ironbelly in his resumee, though,
"I...don't know, really, my uncle still works in Romania," he nodded,
"Lex Lockhart," another nod,
"But my sister moved over to Quidditch," and if you looked at that closely, both careers had something in common, no? After all, some dragons could fly, and one had to fly in Quidditch. So, yeah, never mind.
"That's why I knew of the MacFustys, though, because you are in the dragon business as well," you, as in, the family, because this MacFusty was in a kind of different area. Still related.
He could still mention that he read a lot, and while looking out for Nifflers last year he sort of encountered an interesting book about dragons. But, what was the point? He'd come in here for a whole different reason, and it didn't involve his family. No matter how much he thought of Aslan as part of it.
And...what? A Kneazle? Treyen blinked. This man could hear a Kneazle's step?
Were all Care of Magical Creatures Professors so odd?
