With a tut and shake of his head directed at the knocker, Spike moved through the firsties and towards his usual arm chair. As he did so, he spotted Finn. "Could have waited to let me in too..." he said, shaking his head. His curls bounced lightly, except those were Matilda was located. "But at least there's no fire to start my second term here."

No yet, anyway.

Finlay looked down as he heard someone familar talking ot him. Ahh Spike. "Oh...but your a big 2nd year Spike..." Finlay grinned, nudging his little buddy gently. "I thought that maybe you'd want to be big and let yourself in...." But maybe he had been wrong. It didn't really matter that much though, Spike had still gotten into the common room. So....things were okay.

Although...seeing Spike had made him remember something about the feast. "Spike..." He spoke more quietly, glancing around. "I don't think pushing me and Jimmy together is a good idea." Not when the guy was totally ignoring him. "We've fallen out big time..." Finn sighed, glancing away. Man...he really was missing Jimmy. "I don't want you to get hurt..." Like if Jim and him ended up fighting or anything.
