She had been sort of preparing for them for the past few years, but now she really had to buckle down and study literally everything if she had even the slightest hope of passing them all.
Merlin, this going to be a long, long year...
But let's not think about that now. Right now, she really just needed to find a compartment to sit in.
She hadn't found any at the front of the train, so she moved on to the middle, and soon she found a somewhat empty compartment; there was a girl in there, but she appeared to be alone. Not wanting to continue down the train and wind up not finding any empty compartments down there, Vashti opened this door a little and peeked in.
"Hey," she said with a small, friendly smile. "D'you mind if I sit here? Everywhere else is full."
She looked through the compartment door all the students with their trunks and pets were passing by, but didn't saw any familiar face. Georgiana turned her head to the window looking outside and waiting to arrive at Hogwarts. She hoped this term to be better than the last one, not that last term was bad or anything but she had big expectations for this term. She fixed her long, wavy hair and curled the ends around her finger.
Someone was opening the compartment door and saw a girl peeking from outside "
Hey there" she waved "
Not at all, come on in" she grinned. "
I'm Georgiana and you?" she asked to the girl.
