He was thinking about her grandparents. "You're grandparents are Malfoy's right?" That in itself was kind of daunting too. But Marie was nice, so he thought that the rest of her family would be nice too. Or at least he hoped so anyway. Because if not it might have been a bit of a awkward party, but he was going to try and get along with them. "How old is your grandfather gonna be?" He asked with a smile.
Marie didn't miss the look of concern on Finn's face when she said her whole family would be there. Then when he asked about her family name she had a feeling he might be feeling a little nervous about meeting them.
"Yes, they're Malfoy's. My great grandfather is Draco. But the birthday we're celebrating is my grandpa Scorpius. He's gonna be sixty-eight." She was a little confused about why they were having such a huge party this year instead of when he turned seventy. Her mum told her though that it was because he would be expecting one then, not this year, so now they would be able to surprise him.
Leaning over she kissed him on the cheek.
"Don't worry babe. Everyone will love you. Including my grandparents." As long as they seen that he made her happy then they would be happy too. Especially her parents who only wanted the best for their only child.
