oh...she would definetly have fun at Mia's. He'd only been there once (Which was totally bad seeing as they were best friends, he should totally go over there again soon) but knew what the commune was like. Marie was definetly going to have fun there. "I'm sure Mia will keep you busy." And her parents. Marie might come back never wanting to work again, which Finlay probably wouldn't object too. His mother didn't work so... "And you'll have lots of stories to tell me when you get back." Which he really would enjoy hearing about. It would be awesome.
"I know you will." To be honest it was probably quite a good thing, because he really did want to stay fit. Especially considering that he had his trial for the the Montrose Magpies during the summer, had to be on top form for that.
"I wouldn't so much call it vain as I would confident. Being with you has made me see that I really am a beautiful person. You make me feel that way." Yep, it was true, Finlay made her feel like the most beautiful girl in the world every time they were together. Even when they weren't together she felt that way now.
"Yeah, Mia said there would be lots to do around there." She had a feeling she wasn't talking about just hanging out and doing stupid fun stuff either. She remembered Mia telling her about how she had to work at the commune. Marie just didn't know if that meant she was going to be expected to work too. Well she would be finding out soon enough. She would be at Mia's in a week.
"I can tell you stories about my time at Mia's and you can tell me about your trip with Jim." And there better not be any face bashing in those stories either.
"Of course I will. Gotta keep my future Magpie healthy don't I." Yep, she was confident that they were going to love him once they seen him play.
"Do you know yet when the trials are?" Even though it meant more time that they didn't get to spend together she was excited for him to be trying out for the team. When he was gone would also be the perfect time for her to go visit Matty too.
