I've always been pretty interested in how things work, and how things can be modified. So that, along with my enjoyment of helping others makes pharmacy ideal.

Oh, you should definitely try and pick it up. Just learn the sounds of the guitar (ie play ridiculously badly to practice playing, and then you can make it sound good

The pairings I used mostly occured in canon (H/G, R/Hr) though I always wanted Neville and Luna to be a couple.

I think I'd recommend trying out all the areas (Fanfics, Roleplays, Book/Movie discussions, WWW, etc). There's so much, so the likelyhood of you really enjoying one section is high.
