Of course. She knew he would continue to deny his feelings for Neptune. It didn't matter though, she seen how he was around her. She knew he was not over that girl in any way. He could deny it to her all he wanted, she wasn't going to believe him. "You may say you don't want to love her but you can't stop your heart from loving someone."

Watching him sit up Marie was sure he was gonna get up and walk away from her... again. But he didn't. "I can say that because..." Before she could finish though Healer Moretti was standing there telling her... to leave?

She was getting kicked out?

Looking from the healer back to James just before he turned away she caught sight of... were those tears? Was James... crying?

Maybe he did care for her more than she thought he did. No matter though, it was too late. She had made up her mind. It was time for them to go their own way now... Not to mention it was time for her to leave... as the healer had pointed out.

Standing up she placed a hand on Jim's face and turned it so he was looking back at her. She then wiped away his tears with her thumb. "I'm sorry Jimmy but I really do think this is for the best. Maybe now you'll be able to figure out what your heart really feels." Leaning over she kissed him on the forehead before turning to leave.

Tears were now streaming down her face as she headed towards the door. Turning back one last time she avoided looking at James. Instead she looked towards Healer Moretti. "I'm... sorry." Was all she could choke out. She then turned and walked out. She couldn't be in there anymore, she needed to get as far away from the hospital wing as she could. She knew this moment had been coming for weeks, she just didn't think it was going to hurt this much when it happened.
