"I finished reading it a few days ago and I guess I forgot to give it back right away." Nika was relieved that she remembered, finally."It was really interesting! Thanks for letting me borrow it!" Nika still hadn't gotten the chance to head over to the library for herself yet. "I think I should go to the library soon! A lot of people say it's really nice. I was thinking about heading down there soon. Would you like to join me?" Nika offered hoping that Emily would accept.
Emily took the book with a smile.
"Thanks. And of course I'll come with. I pratically live in the library!"
She wasn't kidding.
"Besides, I want to go there anyway to look up the International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy. Don't you think it's slightly strange that some of the teachers are very..." what was the word? "pro-muggle? It's not a bad thing!" she added quickly "It's just... this statute keeps popping up! It was in the quibbler I bought."
She reached into her bag, and pulled out the quibbler she had bought in diagon alley. "It's just... strange"
She hoped Nika was following her. And she hoped she hadn't hurt her feelings with the term 'pro-muggle'. But there was no other word for it.
