Marie looked through the list of runes in the book trying to decide which one she wanted to do next. She had chosen her first one, Perthro, because she truly was confused here today. Not just by the class itself but by some of the events that had taken place there.


Hmm, Uruz looked like a good one for her. Choosing that one for courage and understanding she started to carve it into the desk.

"Intaglio, Uruz, Uruz, Uruz"

With her wand touching the table she watched as the rune was carved into it. Heh, this was easier than she thought it would be. Before she knew it she had her second rune done.


Two down one to go. One rune, that's all she had left to carve and she had no idea what one she was going to do this time. She read through the list of runes several times before deciding on Wunjo. This one represented motivation and right now she needed all the motivation she could get to finish this assignment.

Wand in hand she started the carving process. "Intaglio, Wunjo, Wunjo, Wunjo." Before she knew it she had her final rune carved into the table.



Finally finished Marie reholstered her wand and looked at her work. Three runes, three different meanings for her. There was Perthro because she was confused, Uruz to give her the courage to understand that confusion and Wunjo to motivate her to continue working here.



Now that she was done she wanted class to be over with already. She needed to go find Jimmy and make sure he was alright. She looked over at Truebridge as if to say, 'Can we leave yet?'
