 Fortress of Brilliance ღ Mommy Quad
Like so many times before, from the time she had started Hogwarts six year ago, the Hufflepuff found herself wandering down the corridor she was probably most familiar with out of the entire castle, along with the ones that led to and from the Great Hall, and her house Common Room. The same corridor she had ventured through her first day at Hogwarts to meet her head of House, Professor Shackleton-Clark, whom she would then visit every first day back for the next three years.
It was a sad day when the woman hadn't returned, but Katie had expected it; She had known it was to come, and that was okay. She understood why. And more than that, surprisingly, after two more years the Hufflepuff girl had become very fond of the woman whom had taken over the position. So it was no wonder really as to why her feet led her in the direction of the Arithmancy Professor's office.
And as usual, the door was left wide open and before Katie had even reached it, she could hear quite a few voices from inside. Yes, she would have to make this visit a quick one, wouldn't she? Raising her hand, the sixth year knocked lightly (but not too lightly, so that she wouldn't be heard over the noise) on the door, waiting just outside.
