Katelynn actually really liked Alex - talking to him was easy, and he could just make her relax. She hoped to herself that everyone at Hogwarts was like this, though the odds of that were very small. But she couldn't tell him that, no way! She would just die of shame if those words ever crossed her lips - then she would sound like a stalker for sure. Or just some insane person, though neither sounded very appealing to Katelynn.

Alex had to put his hand over his mouth to keep himself from laughing when Katelynn stuttered. "I never meant to confuse you Katelynn." he smiled genuinly.

He listened to her talking about flying and he couldn't do anything other than nod and smile. He agreed with, well everything she had just said. "Flying is amazing. Have you thought about going for the try outs? First years rarely make the team but exceptions happen." he winked.
