Yes she had been talking about the tickle fight... He'd had the crazy notion of her remembering she'd told him they crushed on each other but noooo. Nope, nada. Forgotten. Great.... His fingers twitched slightly, why did he feel the urge to take the chicken on the table and just bury his face in it? Because he felt like a total failure and with his face buried in the chicken nobody would see him because he couldn't see anyone. That was a brilliant plan! Yet he didn't reach for the chicken. The firsties could continue nomming on it. They looked like savages. Gaaah he needed to clear his mind and return his focus to Ellie from the animals firsties. He was a little scared of them sometimes... The animals that was, not the firsties... Clearing of Alex' mind; Done! "Please, Ellie you could never beat me in a tickle fight. I wouldn't even call it a fight." he laughed.
She couldn't help but smile at his words. She looked down, trying not to let him see her blush. And smile. Oh Merlin, was it
totally OBVIOUS that she was crushing on him?! Her hair was perfect? False statement, in Ellie's opinion. But he complimented her
and if it was from Alex, she'd take it. She tucked lock of hair behind her ear and laughed.
"A man-magnet? Seems more like a creeper magnet to me." No, seriously. That guy was creepy.
"Plus, you were bound to run into trouble there at least once in your life. I just happened to be there when you did." She said simply.
Oh, she knew that's not what he meant.
"Oh no I don't take the wrong way. I just enjoy teasing you." She said with a wink. She poked him in the arm.
"And you make it so easy." She laughed. It was true, it seemed like Alex always fumbled up his words. But it was cute.
