Alex recognized the odd feeling he'd had before when he was with Ellie. The feeling of not quite knowing what to do or say. He was never left speechless but Ellie did that to him. Made him all considerate of his words.
"You overslept? So did I." he laughed. "And packing the trunk five minutes before you have to leave isn't a great idea..." he admitted.
He scratched his neck slightly. "Yeah it's been a while... I'm good. Tired but good." he chuckled.
Ellie laughed a little. Luckily she packed her trunk the night before.
"Nice going." She winked at him. Even though she had done the same thing. She smiled.
"I just can't wait to get to Hogwarts. And that makes me sound like a nerd. She laughed at herself. Aagh, she'd been waiting all summer in the Leaky Cauldron, just waaaiting for school to begin. And now, they were so close.
"Glad to hear it." She said with a smile. She looked at him and wanted to say something. She felt like she should... but for some reason it seemed like Alex was a walking confundus charm, making her speechless all the time.

She noticed Tay watching her and Alex talk to each other with a smile on her face. She blushed little bit and leaned back in her seat. Ellie couldn't help but thinking Tay knew something she didn't.
"Yeah I bet!" She said.
"With all this Draven business." she winked at the blonde and gently nudged her side. She glanced up at Alex quickly. She knew Tay was completely over her relationship with Alex, but she didn't know how Alex felt about it all. She assumed it was fine though, he was sitting with her after all.
"But yes, I'm ready to get back to structure too. Not the homework though." Ugh, homework.
