Erica smiled at every single one of her employees as they walked on in, even giving those that had said morning to her, a greeting back and others got a polite curt nod from the Blonde. Occassionally the Department Head sipped on her tea she had placed in front of her whilst the parchment remained empty. Which reminded her, maybe she should ask for a scribe for this meeting, it would be so much more convenient after all. “Anyone volunteer to be scribe for me?” she asked, not targeting at anyone in particular, well maybe one of the more experienced employees, they knew what they were doing after all.

She remained where she sat for a while until she was sure that everyone that was going to turn up today, had indeed turned up. Her eyes followed them as they took their seats before she chose to clear her throat to stop any chatter going on and also to announce that she was about to speak, and it was important, otherwise why else would she have called this meeting. She needed them to listen, because she needed their opinion on the matter, and quite urgently to be frank.

“Some of you may have heard, some of you may not have, but recently we have been receiving a few…problems regarding some of the laws that we have protecting some of the Magical Creatures species” Erica started to speak to her employees, a straight expression on her face. She meant business. “I’ve recently been informed of a protest in Liverpool, outside one of the magical Veterinary Services” she sighed. “..Regarding the matter of crups..” she continued. “Does anyone have an idea over what these protests are about?” she asked. She particularly wanted to know whether it was just her that knew or whether others had indeed been informed. True she had a few secrets of her own but these weren’t exactly important right now.
