"Y'could sneak back into line 'fore one of those grownups sees you're missing and goes looking for you," Arrick suggested noncommitally. "That would look real dodgy, it would, and everyone would be looking at you." That would be highly embarrassing, especially if the boy stayed right were he was. Arrick hated being singled out himself, nevermind being caught with another dodgy kid.

"i'm glad we can be friends, i am from charlton in london what about you?" kyrie asked smiling at abigail and feeling please she had made a new friend

Looking at the other boy gratefully, he whispers "thank you".

Turning he starts scooting back out the way he came, trying not to bump others legs again.

"What are you talking about?" he said raising his brow at her. "Stealing me from you? Don't be silly." He poked her nose gently and smiled as she rested her head on his shoulder.

K went for a walk over to hufflepuff to see her cousin. "Kyrie how are you are you so excited to be here!"

Abby sees Ray sitting on the other side of the table. She waves at him. When he doesn't notice her, Abby gets up and walks over. She tapes him on the shoulder. "Long time no see... How ya doint?" Abby smiles so happy to see her friend again.

Catlin entered the hall and made her way to the table she forgot to eat before she left home this morning and was starving. She sat on the bench closest to her and began to pile her plate with food, she took a glance around at her house mates. It was her goal to make friends this term as last term wasnt her best...

"K great to see you" kyrie said as she stood up and gave her cousin a hug "i'm fine thanks and you hun? yes i am excited to be here you?"

Kevin chucked and said "Well i have been well prepared all summer so let the girls come for me i am totally ready to have them chase after me"

K hugged her cousin back "I'm very happy and excited to be here too I'm okay so far thanks but I have to go back to my table I'll ttyl?"

Something caught Lucille's eye. A shot of short spikey dark hair. She was so excited she nearly fell of her seat.
"Angelica!!" she shouted, waving madly. She was beaming. Getting up, she ran to where she was sitting and squeezed in beside her, ignoring annoyed looks from people.
"Hufflebuddie!!" she exclaimed, laughing wildly. God, it was good to see her. As well as her father, Angelica (and old friend) had relayed her accouts of her first year of Hogwarts to Lucille. She was delighted to be in the same house. "Im a hufflepufff! Im a Hufflepuff!" she cried, hugging her.

Nearly choking as somone shouted her name Angelica was delighted to see her friend Lucille running towards her "Oh my god this is awesome, this term just got even better" She smiled madly at her the girl. She was squeeling along with sheer happiness while trying to eat, "Have you told your father you are in hufflepuff yet?" and without warning she gave her hufflebuddie a big hug..

"I'm weird too," Ella said, poking her tongue back at him. That pink hair was irresistible!

"I..." Reese was lost for words now. She just stared at him for a moment and then started to speak, "If you love meeee, then why don't you dump that person right there?" She pointed her index finger at the blonde girl sitting between them. "Then, you know, we can go live happily ever after," she added.

Stealing Torin away from her? Mwaha. That's exactly what she was planning to do. Instead of saying anything to the girl, she turned her attention back to the table, but it didn't take long before she was staring right back at Brody. Did she just threaten to punch her? She opened her mouth to say something, but nothing came out. Okay, maybe she was now a little bit scared of her. She didn't want Brody messing up her adorable face!

"Okay, can't we just settle this like adults?" She asked before scooting away from Brody a little bit more. If she layed a HAND on her, she was soooo getting Kazi over here. "Just dump Torin and we're all set to go. See, no worries..." she told the girl as she tried to put a smile on. "And, if you dump him, we won't have to get into a fight and-" I'll still be able to keep my pretty face.

Don't you just love a girl that's under love potion?

"No, ive only just got sorted, but he's going to be so EXCITED!" Said Lucille. "You know thats why he approves of oyu as a friend, because your a huffie!" He father was very enthusiastic about Hufflepuff. He had loved his house while at school. He wasn't prejudice against the other houses, he was just very enthusiastic.
"How'd you get to the Station?" she asked Angelica. "I didn't see you on the train."

"He is gonna be so happy when he hears from you, do send my love to your family when you do write"
Realising she never got to the back of the train on the way to school Angel sounded appologetic when she spoke
"I am sorry hun, i was at the front of the train with my friend Ruby, she is a slytherin. I will introduce you when classes start."
Her mind went back to the converstation on the train
"Oh when you write home you should ask if in the next holidays you can come stay with me and Ruby at my familys holiday home in the french alps for a few weeks."

Lucille could see that Angel felt bad. "It fine, honestly!" she assured her. "I found Rayedem, all alone in a compartment full of girls. You know how scared he gets." she laughtd, thinking of her other childhood friend.
"You have a holiday home now!? Wowzee wow! Count me in! And I'd love to meet Ruby." She said. "Dad will be glad to here from you. Mum too. I think they think you're their second daughter or something!" she laughed. "Know your time table yet?"

Angel forgot she hadnt told Luci the news so once again became rather hyped "Yes mother and Scott bought it last month, i have only seen photos so far but it looks lush" She tried her best to hide the hatred in her voice when she spoke of her step father Scott, she has never really got on with him since he married her mother.
"Oh yes Rayedem, How is he?"
Then came the subject of timetables
"No, we were told they will be waiting for us in the common room"

‘Ok maybe she’s not too bad, just nervous.’ Abigail smiled at Sara “Don’t worry about it, it’s alright and I’m sure you haven’t made that bad of an impression. It’s nice to meet you. So what classes are you looking forward to?”She was just glad to know there would be no rude awakenings early in the morning.





Abigail was nearly bouncing with excitement; she was so gland she’d begun to make friends after having to leave her other friends behind. And to finally be at Hogwarts!

“Yea my family own stores in the muggle world so we’ve all been to muggle school to learn how to act when were working there. Maths was one of my favourite subjects! I loved it there, but it was difficult not being able to tell them everything.”
She suddenly realised that she hadn’t eaten anything yet, and loaded her plate with mash potatoes and veg before tucking in.



Abigail took a deep brief she was going to be patient with this boy; it was obvious he wasn’t used to this world. She also realised however that he was going to have to learn or he wasn’t going to have a very good time at Hogwarts.

“My whole family’s been through Hogwarts so yes I do know what it’s like and you’ll learn fast enough. As for the paper don’t take it at face value. Yes there was an attack but it was an accident, I doubt that that professor really wanted to hurt anyone. There are bad Werewolf’s out there but there not all alike, most of them just want to get on with their lives.”


Abigail smiled at the girl “We live in Edinburgh. So are you glad to be here? I’m really excited I can’t wait for potions class!”

Arrick watched as the boy dissapeared and reappeared back in line to be sorted, and was placed in Ravenclaw. Drat, he could have used some company. The boy wasn't half bad, even if he was a bit silly like the boy on the train, Josh. Who was now...there, sitting at the red table. Gryffindor, then. Brilliant. That left him stuck with a pack of chatty girls his age and a bunch of older boys.

This was going to be a brilliant experience, he just knew it.

Xander to the RESCUEEEEE.

"Heeellloooooo ladies," Xander said, quickly slipping an arm around Reese. "What do we have going on here, this fine evening?"

He pushed her around to the other side of the table and sat down across from Torin and Brody, arm still wrapped tightly around her. He could FEEL it, he was so going to get hit or something.

"Now tell meee," he said, in a sing song voice. "What's the problem here? I saw the Xanderman symbol on the wall, and I knew I was needed somewhere! It led me here. What do I need to fix for us toniiiight?"

He would get to the bottom of this. HE JUST WOULD.

"She seems to want to." Brody scowled, although it lessened a little when she looked up at Torin. She knew that he probably didnt want to get annoyed like she was getting, but she got a little touchy when individual's were trying to take her things. Her things, in her opinion, belonged to her, and anyone who knew her very well, knew that she would hardly ever give them up. This was why she was reacting so badly. She smiled at Torin though, he was only trying to help. Too bad that it wouldn't work.

"Me dump Torin? Merlin you must be off of your head." Brody rolled her eyes, blankly staring at Reese. Did this girl seriously think she was going to dump Torin, just so that she could have him. Didn't Reese have a boyfriend any me. "You just want me to dump him so you can steal him. No chance." She shook her head, just as she heard a familar voice.

She stared again, as Xander took Reese to the otherside of the table, AND put his arm around her. Whaat! It was Brody that needed the comforting. "She's trying to steal my boyfriend." She spoke through gritted teeth. She was not amused in the slightest.

Voices were droning on around him, buzzing like noisy insects. Not to be condescending, but he was trying to think. Cloudy blue eyes were focused on the staff table. He didn't see people up there, but bundles of words. Emotions and insecurities spelling out who they were. Tense was a word that kept coming up.

"Hrmm." The broad shouldered boy was sitting at a random spot at the table, fingers laced together in his lap. Maybe some food would loosen him up. That apple on the train was hardly filling.

Oh, alright. She was one of those kids who already knew about everything. Pureblood even perhaps. And for some reason 'werewolf' didn't sound scary to her, so maybe purebloods thought it all a load of tosh. Maybe the paper *was* making everything up. Just his luck, reading tabloids. Ugh.

"It didn't sound like an accident in the paper," he said, still incredulous. "More like sabotage, it was. Ern't right that it didn' get looked into."

"So these werewolves n' all just want to make nice?" Here he was even more incredulous. Growing up in a Muggle background meant that the only time werewolves weren't evil and limp-ripping was in comedies or shows like I Was a Teenage Werewolf. What else was there that no longer added up?

Between talking to Abigail and eyeing the staff table warily Arrick was suddenly aware that there was food on the table that wasn't there before.

LOTS of it.

He had never seen so much food in one place. His stomach growled, even as his brain protested that it couldn't possibly be real food. But after staring at it for several long moments, in which nothing hopped off the plate to dance and sing, and nobody at his table keeled over from food poisoning, he shuffled a few pieces of meatloaf onto his plate and took a bite.

He'd never tasted meatloaf this good in his life.

"That ernt right," he mumbled in bafflement, chewing another bite. Mmmmm. If the food was an illusion, it was almost too good to be true.
