Vaughn snickered as one of the students first slipped on some mashed potato, and then let out an enormous fart in front of the professors. Hilarious. But the smell started to make his eyes sting. Oh well, better out than in he always thought. Speaking of which... he used the opportunity as cover to sneak out one of his own. Ahhhh. Silent but deadly. Reaching up to his cheek he discovered a blob of potato. Mmmmm, mashed potato, one of his favourites. Pulling one of the many bowls closer he began shovelling it into his mouth.

Ellie giggled at the 'chaos' some of the students had called. The first year found it all rather funny. She had almost snorted in her pumpkin juice. Half way through munching on roast potato however, a smell reached her nose that made her almost gag. "Ugh!" she thought. "Boys are just gross!"

Ruby looked up from her plate when she heard a familiar voice. She looked up and down the table and caught sight of Ellie, the girl she met in Diagon Alley and in the train yesterday. Ellie was in Griffindor. Great, thought Ruby. She had another friend in the same house. She picked her plate up and walked towards Ellie, who was giggling. "Hi Ellie. Meet again." Ruby grinned at Ellie:"So you're in Griffindor. This's great."

Ginny giggled and run to Gryffindor table, some of her new friends were calling at her.She felt a bit embarrased because it's her first year''oh god i'm so nervous!''she thought.as she sat near her new friends she started feeling bubbly''i thing i'm gonna love it here''she thought and she smiled happily and she started talking with her new friends

"Hi Ruby!" Ellie said. "You're in Gryffindor too!! Oh how fun!" She swallowed some more potato, but dessert was more on her mind. "Well this is really good, we'll be in the same classes and the same dorm. I'm so pleased to be here, are you?"

Lucy saw Ellie and Ruby sitting. Lucy had met Ellie at the Gryffindor table earlier so she thought to say ‘Hello’ to Ellie again and meet her new friend. She thought it might be good in making more friends.

Arakhora sat down at the Gryffindor table. Alone. She was a third year, transfered from Beauxbatons. She glanced over at the Ravenclaws, where her friend Emily (whscameragal) was sitting and dropping food on her lap. Arakhora looked around and wondered if anyone would talk to a half elf, as she had been very much ignored, for some reason, at Beauxbatons Academy.

She stroked her Elven cat, Elios.

"I am. This is such a dream come true." Ruby could not help but grinned. She sat down next to Ellie. "We're going to have classes tomorrow, aren't we? I'm looking forwards classes. They'll be wonderful. Who is our Head of House, anyway?" asked Ruby.

This was utter insanity. He didn't even know what was going on here anymore. But Professors were involved. And there was people causing trouble. And Cameron Karsten. Willie Crocker. Too much shouting!

Then he heard Asher ask him who Brody was. "As I said she's my girlfriend. She's in our House. Blonde. Pretty. 4th Year." Though he had a feeling that Asher thought he was making her up.

Someone had just squished her from behind. And the voice of course was very familiar. The shriek came from Daisy. Hahaha. Maybe she was just trying to be even since she had done the same thing back at the menagerie. She gave her a warm hug and moved a little bit so Daisy can sit comfortably. "Haven't really wandered much in the train. I've been stuck inside one compartment sitting with few familiar faces."

Flyers? What flyers? she asked herself trying to remember if she had seen one. And they really have to talk... absolutely yes. They have a lot of things to talk about.

"You have something important to tell me, right?" she whispered at her ignoring the girl she had just greeted. She was being mean, she knew it but it wasn't intended coz she just have to talk to her bestfriend.

... And she just felt great to be back.. at HOgwarts.

Jecca suddenly went on the place where Lucy, Ellie, and Ruby were sitted. Hello again guys!!! Great to know we're in same house..have you meet other friends, I mean on the other house??? She said cheerfully.

Having eaten all he could, Patroclus looked around at his fellow Lions, so impressed with the house he had been placed in.
Feels like home already, he thought to himself.
Patroclus turned to talk to one of his new house mates
"Hi i am Patroclus, have a nice holiday?"

Ah Vivianne! Finally she asked her. Goodies. The sound of the fest should overshadow their conversation right? At least, that was the logic she was going with. “I do I do…” she pulled out the flyer and handed it over, with the intention to say something about it, but just then the Headmaster started his speech.

“Shh…listen,” she prompted. Maybe he’d tell them more about what happened.

But he didn’t. The news about Healer Avalon was new to Daisy, but she knew more about the Professor Forrester part. She dropped her voice to a whisper and leaned into Vivianne’s personal space. “Professor Forrester’s not going to come back at all,” she started to whisper. It wasn’t right to just blurt out this news. “He was killed...”

"Hi Lucy!" Ellie said. "Have you had any of the treacle tart? It's sooo yummy!" Now that Mummy wasn't here, Ellie was allowed to eat as much as she liked. Boy, this Hogwarts food was going to make her fat, but since this was the Welcome Feast she did not care.

"I've been couting down the years," Ellie said. "Like, since I was five and Mummy told me all about it. I think we hace classes tomorrow. I can't wait! I have no idea who our Head of House is."

"Hi Jecca!" Ellie said. "Oh, it's so good we're in Gyrffindor! We're Griffie girlies!" She giggled, and scoffed down the rest of her treacle tart. She would have to have another piece.

after sorting Andrew walked slowly to his new home and looked at the long table. He saw a few familiar faces he hnew from the Diagon Alley. He approached the table and said ''Hello everyone I'm Andrew but you can call me Drew and I have just sorted here''

The sudden eagerness in Daisy's voice seemed to fit Vivianne's interest at the moment. The headmaster started his speech but she pretended to listen, her ears were fixed to Daisy. She watched Daisy's hand pull out a flier from her pocket and she handed it to her.

What's this? She slowly opened it coz it seemed so important. And her eyes started to scan the paper with bright bold letters. GASP... WhAAAATTT?

Wait why was she reacting that way... Even though she wasn't showing it physically. She rea again the last words. THEY ARE DANGEROUS AND SHOULD NOT BE IN OUR SCHOOLS... "What does this thing mean, Daisy?" she again whispered. There's a werewolf unleashed at Hogwarts? Perhaps she was right with her guess but where is the creature now?

They're fortunate enough to have the great hall filled with the usual noise of the start of term banquet. Hearing from the headmaster that Professor Avalon's being replaced coz she's missing, she felt a little bit alarmed. Was it connected with the flier? Her eyes glanced at her bestfriend then back at the flier again. Just then she heard her whisper back that Professor forrester got killed just after Professor Bontecue had announced that the Astronomy teacher's not coming back. Via's face was filled with terror.

Hi!! Arakhora it seems you are missing someone. Nice to meet you are you having fun and don’t feel lonely you can join us too if you wish. I’m Lucy it’s good to make new friends. Well this is my first year and what about you?

“Sure” said Lucy and took a piece of treacle tart. She loved it as she took a bit and started eating them as many as she could. Lucy was very fond of eating.

“I don’t know,” she responded referring to the overall arch of things. She and Vivianne had sort of ‘zoned out’ of school activities and events near the end of last term, each due to different reasons. “There was that assembly last term about the werewolves. Headmater Bontecou was attacked by Professor Lupa. Nobody really knows what went wrong either.” She had, after a lot of finagling, got her older brother to buy her a copy of the daily prophet and so she had been able to read up on what was going on.

And then Vivianne looked mortified. Oh horney hoptoads, that wasn’t my intent… Daisy sighed mentally. “Sarah Griffin, she’s a Hufflepuff I met in Diagon a few weeks ago, said she was there when it happened. There was a flash of green and then he was dead.” She was certain that Vivianne was smart enough to know what that meant.

‘Hi Drew, how are you good you see you in Gryfindor. I’m Lucy, I’m in the first year too’ said Lucy to the boy next to she with a big smile on her face.

"Hi Andrew!" Ellie said waving. "You're in Gryffindor too!" She was sure she'd met him before at Diagon Alley or something, but she wasn't sure. He was familiar, anyways.

"Do you like the treacle tart?" Ellie said, halfway through her third piece.

''Hello Lucy nice too meet you. I'm good how are you?'' said Drew with a huge smile and sat next to her...

''Hello Ellie how are you?'' He greeted Ellie who he saw with Sara's group.

“I am fine, meet my friends Ellie, she is in the first year too. Have you met her earlier? Would you like some treacle tart, I like it, Ellie gave me some.

"I'm good thanks, you?" Ellie said. "Oh I am so pleased I'm in Gryffindor! Sara's in Hufflepuff, I wish she was in Gryffindor. K and Kyrie and Bonnie are all in different houses to me too, but oh well!"

''Oh thanks you are so kind. yes we met with her before I guess at Diagon Alley, right Ellie? So are you happy to be a Gryffindor because I'm so happy it's great!!!''yes it was really great being here meeting new people and being a wizard...

"I think we did meet at Diagon Alley, yeah," Ellie said. "I got my wand," she got it out of her robes. "See? Did you get yours?"
