Harry Potter: Crumbled Foundation {Aka Unraveled Reboot...)

Lily Evans didn't know what she had gotten herself into when she agreed to stay with James Potter over the summer break. Her parents were making arrangements for Petunia Evans, and Vernon Dursley’s wedding. Lily wasn't a fan of Vernon Dursley or his family, and she wasn’t a fan of the arrangements that Petunia had helped to make. Petunia, had of course found her Diary, which she had written, “I hate James Potter” on the first page, and so to tick Lily off, she purposefully made her stay with him. How will her summer escapades and rampant mischievousness change her life, and how will they effect her feelings for a certain, James Potter.
NOTE: ONLY FIRST POST IS FROM THE SUMMER, IT STARTS IN THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL.
Plot Information:
In the beginning Lily isn't fond of James Potter or his actions, but in the end she warms to him, and eventually the school year begins. This begins in the tail-end of the summer, but the first post is a basic motticum of emotions that Lily felt in the beginning of the summer before her new experience evolved into a whole new destiny. A Destiny that included a certain James Potter, as her new-found-love in her last and final seventh year at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Dear Diary,
Petunia has made me stay over-summer with the Potters, how weird is that? She got a hold of my Diary that I forgot at home over the school year and in it, the first words were "I HATE JAMES POTTER". I feel really bad about it now, because I know I don't Hate James anymore, he was so oddeningly kind to me over the past month. We've only got three more weeks of summer break left, and I wonder what will happen between us considering my change-of-heart and his so clear obsession with being around me and wanting to well, date me.

Lily read the note she had written the week before and smiled, today some of her friends were showing up and they were attempting to help her through the end of the month and the end of the summer break. She really loved the Potter's home it was such a beautiful building with a magical inside-litterally, the inside was enchanted so its expanse was much larger than that it looked like it would be from the outside. It looked quaint from the outside, and on the inside it was quaint, but still oh-so-lavish.
Lily walked out of her room in the Potter's home putting her Diary on the end of her bed and locking it quickly. She walked down the stairs and out the back kitchen-door of the house. Where a small crystal-clear pond was visible there were no creatures like Giant Squids or Grindylows in the water here it was so beautifuly an Azure water. She walked to the waters edge and looked at all the small fish swimming around, she loved watching the water as much as she loved dazing off into fire-places.
She heard a slight hoot and looked up seeing a tawny owl with a letter about its leg. Taking the letter and opening it, she realized it was the Hogwarts leters.
Reading the letter she almost screamed. "I'VE GOT HEAD!" She yelled out in shock, she was head girl for her year. Head Girl! She wondered who Head Boy would be and assumed James would not be him, if it was James she would probably feint or blink at him repetatively saying "thats impossible!" Because it really was impossible.
She smiled and heard the door bell ring, walking to the door and opening it she smiled welcoming all the visitors into the home, it wasn't like James's parents would mind. They were constantly off on buisness, which made it possible for them to--well, have many moments alone in their large home. One morning, she had woken and found him gazing at her, and as she stood up, he walked over and planted a kiss on her lips. That was the day she realized she had feelings for him. The day she realized she actually was quite fond of James Potter.

History: Lily Evans grew up in a small london suberb with her sister Petunia and mother and father, at the age of 18 her parents died, so Lily was asked to stay with the Potter family as her magical schooling looked peculiar to muggle families and Petunia Dursley did not seem like a fit caregiver to her sister.
Personality: Lily is a tough girl she's not the type to sit back and watch someone get tortrured however she will fight with old friends like Severus Snape if they call her nasty names like "mudblood".

I thought about using it on Lily on my formative years but I just could not do it. I had and still have too much respect for her.".
"Lets go to the common room, I mean its pretty late - and you won't sleep if you go to the kitchens." She a laughed, she also had a strange feeling that something interesting was happening. "Anyways, we might run into the two people who disappeared and find out why they didn't go to the prank." Lily exclaimed shocked in both Sirius and Gin's behaviours in not showing up.
Slowly she turned and began to run back up the settled stair, stopping at the platform for the fourth floor, "Ready?" She called, running up the next staircase and the next, until she was on the seventh floor.
Gin looked up to Remus as he spoke, her cheeks flushing as she commented. Oh he knew - or she thought he did, no he couldn't know he hadn't been in the room with them. She quietly walked over to Remus, smiled, and took a a seat on one of the large sofa's giving enough room for anyone to sit near her.
"Yeah, I missed it." Gin admitted, "we both did" she whispered, thinking he couldn't hear - but Remus could hear.
"The potion, was for Kensington - she's a little tough and Evans....both know how to avoid your spells mate." Cat nodded when he gave his idea, "Yeah that works - and if someone is in love doesn't it just make them act a little too lovey-dovey you know if they have potion on top of the true thing. "Uh, right, how do suspect we could slip anyone pollyjuice potion without them knowing it. The stuff smells aweful and tastes even worse and there is nothing I know of that can negate that. And you really think that I can't outsmart James Potter. I have some potions in my stores that the aroma alone will knock you out. I have one that smells like nothing but the aroma still travels over the area. All I gotta do is get him alone in a secluded area. And yes we are using amortentia, it's just going to be a special brand of mine that is colorless so no one suspects anything. Do not underestimate me Cat. I am not the 5th year Snape could bully around to no end cause he was more clever then me. I have grown and practiced the delicate art of potioneering tirelessly. I am a way better potioneer then he will ever be. That prank he pulled is amature compared to what I have in my stores.", Snape saiid giving Cat a sly smile.

Sirius let her through the portrait hole, nodding in agreement to the comment though stopping as he spotted the two fellow Gryffindors in front of them. He opened his mouth to warn Gin but it was too late and she collided with Alex and tripped into her brother. As Ginerva handed out her "collection of food" to Alex who had disappeared back to the common room earlier without dinner, the beater walked further into the room heading towards the couch.
The animangus slowly shook his head at Lucien's question stopping as he seemed to catch on to what may or may not have happened. "Probably because..." Sirius started to confirm Lucien's original thoughts on where he and Ginerva had been but then trailed of himself when he realized brothers could be protective of sisters. He almost laughed at how Remus seemed so shocked at their missing the prank which under normal circumstances would have been the last thing they wanted to do especially the first prank of the term.
"I was called away," he remarked as he sat down, creatively avoiding the full truth to see if his friend put two and two together.
"Lucien, I didn't stop you because it wasn't worth it. You are completely wrong 99 precent of the time, so why bother." Gin patted her brother on the shoulder, and walked over to her favorite overly stuffed sofa. Sitting down she cast both Remus and Sirius - at once, a nice smile.
"You two having fun?" She asked, smirking slightly, her brother would never know.
Lily slipped into the common room, past Lucien and Alex and noticed both Sirius and Gin were in the common room. Not sitting together - as she'd hoped they would be. Darn, she thought and took a seat next to Gin. "Gin, how are you?" She asked smiling.
"I'm great Lily," She smiled, as Lily sat next to her - oh did she wanted to just spill the beans but she knew not to right then and there - not after telling her brother he was wrong. She just didnt' want Lucien to know.
Cat nodded, she new Snape was right his potions were stronger. She just hoped it wouldn't backfire in anyway. "Any other ideas?" She asked smirking. She thought the plan so far worked well.
"I do think we could use Lucien Kensington in a way to well - help us get what we need." She smirked - he'd liked her the year before.

"Not too much fun at the moment," Sirius answered, his words holding two meanings as she sat on the other couch so they werent together. But seeing as Gin seemed to be keeping their newfound relationship a secret...for now, the animangus chose words that could be taken innoscently. "What about you Remus?" He looked over as LIly joined them on the common room, expecting James to be right along with his girlfriend even though as Lily sat down with her best friend, he didn't yet see his best friend.
"Oi where did Jamiepoo disappear to?" He asked looking back at the girls.
"Right he's probably still on the third floor landing," Lily nodded with a laugh, she added a quick "he said either go off to the common room or the kitchens so I said come up here and ran off...he's probably just a little sore - i tripped into him and had to heal the back of his head." She admitted with a blush creeping onto her face - and a nervous laugh escaping her.
Gin smiled, over to Sirius, chuckling she added a quick "You'll probably be much happier soon." she hinted slightly to her want to tell her best friend, she just didn't know if he'd be okay with that.
She quickly cast him a look, a look that read can I tell her? She didn't know if he was okay with her exploding with the big news and telling the whole common room - including her nosey brother about everything. Oh but if she didn't she'd probably explode with it - or accidentally let it out by running up to him and kissing him after the next quidditch game.

Alex whislted as headed down the corridor. He smiled as he saw Gin approaching with food. "Thanks Gin. Now I don't have to walk all of the way down to the kitchens." He took the food from her and started to eat. He was so engrossed in eating that he didn't pay attention to the conversation going on around him. His bad mood and need for food had made him ignorant to it all. So once he finished his food, he had no idea what was going on. He really needed to start paying more attention...
Gin smiled, knowing Alex would be happy for her she took out a piece of paper and magik'd an invisible not to him - one only he could read.
I have a boyfriend and he's in this room....guess who it is. Darn wasn't she sneaky, now he'd have something other to think of than Lily and James...but he might get it quickly.
Her cheeks were red, redder than her hair, redder than Lily's she looked like she was part tomato actually. She smiled - blushing still.

James was tired, more tired than he usually would be. Normally he would chase after the fiery red head, but today, he just slumped up the stairs, yawning.
Finally reaching the common room, he entered, yawning before using his best entrance yet, with a pose.
"Did somebody say James Potter?" Woah, that took a surprising amoutn of energy out of him. Sitting on the nearest open seat, he gave a small smile around the room, eyes lingering on Lily. "Hello all."
Remus hid a smirk at what Gin said. "I'm good Padfoot." Remus said to Sirius, stifling a laugh as he saw how odd Gin was acting. She was hiding something.
Seeing James enter the common room, he rolled his eyes at the antics. "Hey Prongs. Tired?" Remus said.
James yawned again. "Yep." He simply said, curling up slightly in his chair, almost falling asleep. He had never been able to stay up as long as others. He was a wimp. He could admit it.
Gin noticed the smirk Remus gave her and smiled over to him. She knew he would know soon enough know she was dating the guy who was siting next to him. Yes, she knew that.
She leaned over to Lily, and smiled, "Lil, I have something I have to tell you later." She whispered.
Lily nodded at this, then looking up to James she laughed, blushing slightly as he watched her sitting with her friend, she smiled as she saw him curling up - it was sweet.

James almost fell asleep. He needed something with caffeine....
"Mooooonnnyyyy!" James whined, "Do you have some chocolate?" Chocolate had caffeine, he was sure of it. If it didn't, well chocolate was yummy and food helped keep him awake.
Remus shook his head. "Not unless you say please." He teased. Pulling out a large chocolate bar out of his pocket. He teased James with it, waving it around in the air.
He would eventually give some to him, but Remus was having too much fun.
James' eyes followed the chocolate. Leaping at Remus, he grabbed the chocolate bar out of Remus' hands and immediately began to eat it.
"YUM!" James said, mouth full of chocolate and feeling a bit more awake now. He went back to his armchair, this time slouching, leaving his legs hanging over one of the arms of the chair.
Gin couldn't bare it anymore. She gave Sirius a quick look that expressed her utter need to tell someone. And without anyone stopping her, yet that is, she got up and walked over to James. Sitting next to him she poked his side.
"James!" She smiled, leaning to his ear she whispered. "I've got a boyfriend. Aren't you happy for me?" She nearly giggled, she was happy. Very happy. Lily rolled her eyes laughing at how James was acting. She had no idea what Gin had told him but it looked like a deep secret and she wanted in.
Gin walked back over to the chair, sitting next to Lily she smiled. "I've got a boyfriend." She mouthed.
"Congrats love," Lily smiled hugging her friend, and winking at Sirius figuring it was him.

James turned his head at Gin who had poked him. "Good on you Gin! Who's the guy?" James asked happily, already having a suspicion that it was Sirius. As Gin told Lily, he watched as Lily winked at Sirius. Ah, so his suspicions were correct. Sirius is Gin's boyfriend.
He looked at Lily as she smiled. She was so pretty. James was ready to start swooning over her, but then he remembered only girls swoon. James went over to Lily and planted a kiss on her lips. Sitting down next to her, he pushed Gin gently out of the way.
"Gin, how about you go to your boyfriend." James said winking at Gin, and then at Sirius.
Gin turned bright pink "A-and who do you think he is James?" Gin blushed as he said this, noticing he looked at Sirius it reddened even more. "Lucky guess I think." She inadvertently answered his suspicions herself.
Lily laughed as Gin got completely embarrassed, "Ah, so my guess was right too then?" Lily smirked, "We make a good-guessing team then eh James?" Lily smirked smiling over to him.
Lily stood, up walking over, sitting next to James, leaving Gin there with a large expanse of open seat next to her.

"We are good Lily! High-five!" He held his palm out for a high-five. Him and Lily did do an awesome job figuring it out, though being honest it wasn't too hard. Could Gin be more obvious?
As Lily sat next to him, James pulled her closer to him, hugging her. Lily smelt nice. Like Lilies...
James looked up from Lily to see if Sirius and Gin were sitting together yet.
Lily high-five'd James back smiling. Lily sighed, smiling, leaning her head against his shoulder she smelled the sweet smell of his skin - like fresh rain well probably because they were rained on earlier but anyways she loved it.
Blushing uncontrollably as he pulled her into a hug. She squirmed slightly, and positioned herself - as her best friend had been earlier, with her head tucked under his chin. Still, her friend had been that way with another man - her now boyfriend and Lily had no idea of that. But, the action made Lily happy, she loved the feeling of his body against hers the comfort it gave her.

James was happy. Really happy. Lily was amazing. He just wanted to kiss and hug and hold her tight all day. With a bit of a break for pranking because, come on, pranking is amazing.
He was going to do something for Lily. He was either going to buy her something, or prank Snivellus properly for her. Or both. Yeah he would do both.
He would have let Lily in on the prank, but seeing as she was still a novice pranker, he didn't. Though he needed Sirius for it, and the rest of his marauder mates.
That night he would tell them about his marvellous prank idea... Well he would come up with something then. Right now he had nothing, because he was distracted by Lily being in his arms!

Leaning it she softly kissed the base of his jaw in a discrete manor that should go unnoticed by everyone else - well if she were lucky that is.

"Ah he'll be ok he has a hard head to begin with," Sirius remarked with a laugh of his own. Seeing Gin look to him, he gave a little shrug to Gin's silent question part because he didn't know either what she was asking and part because it would be really up to her who and when to tell.
"We might have....or was it Thames Copper?" he mused as his friend made his entrance He aimed to toss a pillow at James as he nearly fell asleep because it was still too early to be thinking of sleep but he stopped when the fellow animangus spoke up requesting help...and chocolate from Remus. He laughed again at his best mate's antics, the boy almost as crazy about the candy as the lycanthrope himself and that was saying something.
He did however throw the pillow when James questioned Gin to who the boyfriend was before looking innoscent. No Sirius Black did not just throw a pillow confirming who it was...no sir. His attention only moving to Gin after a few minutes wondering of she was to follow James' instructions or if he should make the first move.
Gin blushed slightly, as she realized it all was seemingly resting on her shoulders - and she wasn't scared off by that as she normally would be in times like these. Well, on the first day of the relationshop that is.
Gin slowly stood up, stretched began to walk over towards where Sirius was sitting smiling confidently as she tried to muster all the courage needed to really let everyone know. That was she froze up, halfway there - foot poised in mid-step.
"C'mon Gin you can do this." She told herself, quietly, her stride quickening - almost causing her to topple over. "Hey" she smiled waving, now standing infront of Sirius. After all, Lily and James had already put two and two together - and Alex and Lucien probably already knew without even so much as a word.
She quickly with one last step sat down next to Sirius.
"You two, are adorable." Lily smiled, turning her attention to her best friend - and James's best friend. She smiled, "i've always thought that by the way...told Gin that ever since she told me she liked you..." Lily smirked, knowing she'd let Gin tell the him the exact time - it had been a while of her having a hopeless crush on him that turned out wasn't hopeless in the least bit.

James needed a cover story, and quick. He didn't need her finding out that he was going to surprise her. "Beavers. I'm thinking about beavers. And how I'm glad you don't look like one." Nice save.
"Oi Padfoot!" James yelped as the pilllow hit him. He wanted to throw the pillow back, but didn't. He was going to let Sirius and Gin start makign otu first. Muahahaha!
Or he might not. James had to admit, he was happy for Gin and Sirius and they were cute together, but he was a guy, and guys don't call pairings cute. Or anything cute really, unless it was their significant other.

Sirius couldn't help watch as Ginerva made her move, getting up and walking towards him. He gave a light smile in return for her own as if encouraging her to continue and making sure she knew he was comfortable in the admittance. "Hey..." the animangus echoed, his smile brightening as she waved before taking the last steps and finally sitting down beside him. His arm slipping up and behind her casually on the back of the couch.
"Oh really..." he mused with raised eyebrow as Lily revealed that Gin's feelings for him may have been a long-term thing that had been hidden for the time being. "Guess thats what I get for being more low-key in my feelings then dear Prongs there," he added with a chuckle. The boy looking over to meet his neighbor's gaze almost wishing he had had realized his feelings sooner and given in.
"Wha?" Sirius asked innoscently to James' accusatory words, a smirk sneaking across his face.
Lily raised an eyebrow and laughed as James said he was thinking about Beavers. Then he said he was glad she didn't look like one. Oooh he was not smart was he?
"Really? are you always this ugh" she exclaimed a loss of words - her words weren't harsh they only had a small bit of humph to them. Removing her glare she smiled again as she glanced over to see Sirius put an arm around Gin and comment about being more low-key about feelings than James. Mmm, he'd gotten that right.
Gin smiled softly as Sirius put his arm behind her, he was really comfortable as she'd realized earlier in the room of requirement. Then she threw Lily a quick cold look of how dare you before turning back to Sirius as he inquired about it.
Well, sort of. His comment about being more low-key made the situation far easier for the shy red-head. "Yeah really but, Sirius I think this is good for us you know waiting till now and all. Seeing that way we weren't pulling a James and Lily thing - no offense of being pestered every day since fifth year." She nodded, even though she would never had admitted she had liked him nearly as long - mainly since the first year was indeed a, well small crush then a light infatuation then dreaming she would be with him - you get the picture her feelings for him just grew and grew over time.
"Did he really almost call Lily a Beaver?" she asked jaw dropping.

"WHAT? I never almost called lovely Lily a beaver! Beavers have horrible hair, horrible teeth, horrible voices and are annoying. Lily is none of those things!" James shouted. "How at all did I insult her?" He would never call his Lily a beaver. Beavers are scary anyway.
Did he say that last part out loud? Merlin! What would he do if everyone found out his fear of beavers. Time to change the subject.
"So... Has everyone been practicing Quidditch and flying over the holidays?" if not, they were doing things his way. They were doing things... THE POTTER WAY!
Well they'd have to anyway because he was the captain, but it sounded more impressive that way.
