In a new interview with am New York Dan Radcliffe talks about the scenes he's looking forward to doing for Deathly Hallows and mentions in passing that quidditch is back for Half-Blood Prince, much to his annoyance. Quote: Were there any scenes in "Deathly Hallows" that you're especially excited about doing in the movie?
I was very excited to do that scene where Harry is walking to face Voldemort. Hopefully I'll be able to do that justice. Also the King's Cross chapter -- and obviously, I'm saying all this without any knowledge of what's gonna be cut -- the scene in the King's Cross chapter with Dumbledore after Harry has been killed, essentially. If anyone can design that set it's ["Potter" production designer] Stuart Craig.
Were there any scenes that you kind of hope get cut, maybe because they'd be tedious?
I suppose anything on a broomstick I always go, 'Oh, god.' It's weird because J.K. Rowling essentially doesn't like writing Quidditch. I and the crew and all the cast members don't like filming Quidditch. But it's so pleasing to the fans, and there is more Quidditch in the sixth film.

If I was stuck on a broom in front of a green screen with forced wind and rain shot at me from every direction, I'd hate filming it, too.

i'm a little annoyed with dan for this. And why all the cast and crew don't like Quidditch?? I think I read before that Rupert wanted to do Quidditch and it was disappointment that they removed these scenes from ootp.

I'd have thought they already do, for health & safety rules. But I think it's like riding a bike; no matter how protected you are, the saddle is going to be uncomfortable after a certain period of time. Quote:

Well it's a painful process apparently, for males, and I'd imagine it's rather tedious for the crew - it must take a long time to do, and from a shooting perspective, isn't the most thrilling or challenging scene.

YES!!! I miss seeing the quidditch! They'd better have the luna commentary!
I just hope they make the 6th film dark and focus more on harry and dumbledore rather than the romance side of it.

Nobody hurt me, but particularly don't like seeing Quidditch. Reading it is cool.
It might just be because, knowing this before that while everyone and I are watching/enjoying it...one of the actors and the crew didn't like filming it. Makes me feel guilty that they're doing something they'd rather not do just to please us.
