Jeremy sat down on the bench exhanusted. He heaved for air and he couldnt feel his hands or his feet. HE closed his eyes. A hot sweat poured over him and he opened his eyes a little to see Edward. "Did I do good?" he asked as he closed his eyes again from exhaustion. He just needed a little sleep...

Brianna smiled joyfully, it seemed as though everyone was out....then her smile dimmed, Where was Shai!? She couldn't think about that now, she had to check on the ones she could see. Turning off the jet of hot air, she turned to Jayden. "Are you okay? I'm so sorry I couldn't get you!" She turned to Tonya and patted her arm. "Shai is the only one of my people left in there, Corranda is somewhere in that mess too." She walked quickly over to Jeremy and conjured blankets for everyone that had been in the snow. She wrapped one around his shoulders and leaned over him, "Thank you so much...Without your help we'd all have died in there." She had no other way to express her feelings of gratitude, so she leaned over and hugged him. Then pulled back, slightly embarrassed about her display of emotion. She pulled her red hair back from her face and turned to the other's in the hall. "We have to get Shai..."

Madeline finally opened her eyes and sat up. It was wet. Why in the world was it wet? And she was FREEZING! What had happened? She held her head in her hands as her eyes adjusted to the scene around her. She wasn't in the office anymore, and she was sopping wet. Was that...was that snow in her hair? She was completely confused. Groaning, she leaned against the nearby wall and rubbed her temples. She felt all empty and hollow inside...she didn't know why that was, but it was as if all the emotions inside of her had been wiped clean. "What happened?" she muttered, looking at Brianna and the rest of her employees who were scattered about.

Shai was groggy and her head was pounding tremendously. Where am I? she thought. It seemed as though she was up to her nose in white stuff...snow. Slowly she started trying to push her way out, but it was to no avail. She rolled her eyes over and saw fingertips, her fingertips. If I could just..., she thought. Her head was pounding, her vision was blurring, she was feeling weak.

Trying to remember what happened, she could only see fuzzy parts. So much for being a gifted seer, she thought. She concentrated, everyone was sick...from a drink...Corranda...disappearing...getting hit on the head with a table...that was it! She was hit in the head with a falling desk because of the snow. Shai must've passed out from the blow.

Shai somehow worked her fingers free and dug a deep well around her face. She was having trouble finding her voice, but when she did, she screamed, "HELP!!! HELP!!! I'M STILL IN HERE!!! HELP!!!"

She was starting to feel desperate, like she couldn't breathe, then she started to fade away again...

Brianna gasped as she heard Madeline's voice and turned to explain the events when she heard Shai. "Shai! Hold on, we're coming!" She conjured a jet of hot air out of her wand again and tried to make her way back into the office. She was weighed down by the blankets she still had in her hand. Turning, she quickly draped one over Madeline and put the rest by the door, then turned back into the office. Shai's desk hadn't been that far from the door, so Brianna thought she could make it.

It took a few minutes, but she finally found the air pocket that held Shai. "Shai! I'm here!" She turned and directed the jet towards Shai's body, quickly melting the snow around her. "Are you awake?" She asked, knowing she'd never be able to carry her out.

Shai was slowing beginning to stir. She felt something warm and it was stimulating her. She opened her eyes, vision blurry, and saw Brianna. She tried to muster the strength to say something but couldn't. Listless, it was all she could do to lift herself up.

"Mmmmm, I'm up," she managed to mutter, "Just help me, I cant...my legs...I can't feel them..." she trailed off.

She reached out for Brianna's arm, for her legs were far too wobbly for her to carry herself.

Jeremy woke up after a few minutes. He hadnt known there was someone else stuck in the room. He saw Brianna bond back into the snow. "I gotta help" he said still feeling exhansted. He hoisted himself up into the room on top of all the snow. The room was close to being filled with snow. "Come on we got to get you two out." he told Brianna and the other girl quite hoarsely. He scooted closer to them Brianna looked like she couldnt hold Shai up. "Grabb onto my feet." he told the young woman. "Im going to try and drag you to the hole. Its to cramped for me to actually stand up." he told her as he turned toward the door. "Brianna can you try to help push her?" he asked as he saw the opening to the door.

Believe me or not, I actually tried to quote everything. And it got messed up, all of it. >_> Too many posts. -pokesy'all- =p
Gah, no! It was all going wrong, wrong, wrong, everything was going just the way it shouldn't, absolutely against her. Corranda was infuriated. And mad. VERY mad.

At first, things happened too fast for her to do anything. But then, just as Jeremy and Brianna returned for Shai, she had her chance. "I'LL TEACH YOU NOSY IDIOTS A LESSON," she shouted, clearly frustrated, forgetting all magic and, instead, grabbing the back of Jeremy's robes. "You foolish man," she spat through gritted teeth, shaking poor Jeremy so hard, she was sure his very brains were shaken. Then, abruptly leaving him and vanishing in the snow, she raised her wand and waved it all over the snow. The mounds of white began to melt, flooding the place.

"Idiots, trying to ruin my plans," Corranda muttered, still very, very angry that the balance had nearly tipped in their favour. She spotted Royda, and cackled loudly.

"I hope you're having fun, Dames," she barked, regaining some of her old eagerness to cause as much wreck in the place as possible. "Ha! Bri and Levy-ness and you fatso -" this remark was for poor Jeremy - "you're all going to pay. Drown, drown, drowwwwwwwwwwwwwn now." The water was up to her own knees, now, but Corranda clearly did not care. "REPEEEEEEEENNNNNNNT, YOU THIN, SICK, PRETTY MINISTRY PEEEEEEEOOOOOPPPPPLLLLLE."

Clearly, Corranda's thirst for mayhem was not yet quenched.

Brianna nodded and helped Shai move enough so that Jeremy could pull her from the room. They were all completely exhausted. Then Corranda grabbed Jeremy and the snow was melting. This was their chance! As the invisible Corranda turned him loose, Brianna grabbed Shai and helped push her to the door. The snow was gone, now it was water, icy cold water, but still-it was easier to walk through than snow. She turned, looking for a disturbance in the water and found it. A list of possible spells were running through her head, but she couldn't quite focus enough to pick one that would stop this madwoman.

Jeremy head began to shake violently. He could feel every bone in his body begin to throb. The first thought that came to his mind was. Shes goign to break me in half! Of course he knew that couldnt happen. So he tensed himself but she had let him go.... in a pool of icy-cold water. He opened his mouth in surprise "Ittsss Frreezzing!' he said through chattering teeth as he swam toward the only girl in the room that had to be gotten out. He grabbed her hand and pulled her close to him making sure her head was out of water. He was struggling trying to swim with only one arm but he had to get out of there. He looked toward the door. Brainna was standing over there. Almost there...... he thought to himself not even worrying what miss Corranda did. He just wanted to get out.

Tonya Anne stood at the door waiting for people the last people to get out of the office as the snow melted and the room began to flood. She spotted the man nemed Jeremy and hollered, "Jeremy! I"m coming in to help." as she dove into the freezing water. She swam toward him and the girl and took the girl. "You get out. I'll take her you've been dealing with this longer than I have if you don't get out you'll end up with hypothermia." she said as she pulled the girl toward the door.

Piper was ignored by her boss, she felt as if she was useless... People started to gather around, and more appeared in the few minutes that followed. Piper suddenly fell, she was sure why but she had an idea and she knew that Corranda was behind it...
The later minutes of mahem happened fast and Piper felt someone pulling her as she was pushed outside the office, where many other people were still standing.
It took her a couple of minutes to understand what was happening, the snow had turned to an icy water, shai was saved, a man called Jeremy seemed to be the big hero and another man-security guy- was still trying to stop Corranda.
Feeling that she can do much more, Piper took out her wand and walked towards the office... She was the expert on Charms wasn't she? So why not make Corranda have a taste of what she can do...
"Let me in for a couple of minutes... Please... I can stop her just let me in" Piper yelled as she tried to make her way inside the office... "Let me go"

Jeremy struggled with Shai and was finally able to get her out of the door with Tonyas help. He stumbled out of the room and looked back to see where Brianna had gone. He heard a voice and saw Piper. "Let her through!!" he yelled and helped her through the door to the freezing water.

Piper took Jermey's hand as he helped her go inside the office. As soon as she was inside, Piper looked around her...
"Corranda we can do this in the nice way and we can do it in the mean way... And believe me a hundred and nine year old witch won't like the mean way... And Corranda maybe they haven't told you about me... But I'm an exceptional charm creator and can surely cast a million charm with ease... So you choose... Do you want me to show you what Piper Underwood can do?" Piper asked as she circle around herself... "Do you?" she repeated.

Madeline sat on the floor, blinking as she watched the scene unfold. Something told her she should be helping, but for some reason, she didn't care. What's happened to me? she wondered to herself, staring off into space. She knew something was wrong and she still couldn't figure out what it was. Should I be doing something to help? she thought.

Brianna had made her way back to the door, stumbling through the water. She wasn't feeling very well all of a sudden. The tiredness was overwhelming her and she couldn't focus. She looked over at Madeline and tried to say something, but nothing came out when she opened her mouth. She felt slightly faint and was having problems thinking. Suddenly, the lights seemed to dim around her and she collapsed in a heap next to the wall.

Royda felt cold and wet and small. Very small. And insignificant. Very insignificant.

In fact, she felt like a little child. She knew she was outside, and that she was not, at least, on fire anymore, but now she felt like she was on snow. If that could ever make any sense. At all.

She spotted Madeline and, even though she had no idea who this person was, she half crawled up to her. "Why am I here?" she asked in a small voice. Then the memory of everything that had happened up till then flooded her mind, and she groaned. She stood up, with an effort, and inched close to the door, watching Piper speak to an invisible Corranda. She wished she could help, she really did...

Silently, Royda closed her eyes, still leaning against the door. Oh, how she hated Corranda! Why had she never realized Corranda was this messed up in her mind? And to think she had always just taken Corranda as one of her mother's paternal grandmother's hamster's owner's neighbour's friend who was somehow related to her...

Corranda was not at all uncertain in her own self, at the moment. She had invented spells, too, so many that Pipewood would never be able to match her skills, not in a million years. She felt it unfair, though, that she was up alone against so many people. Most unfair, indeed. Still, it was an achievement that, even being one against nearly half a score of people, she was still there, strong in the fight.

"Cut the heroic crap, Pipewood," Corranda barked loudly. Her voice came from the far end of the room though, in reality, she was standing as far away from the direction through which her voice came as possible. This was another one of Corranda's nasty, little tricks. Fun, sometimes, but always the root of mayhem unmatched. "You want a duel, we'll have one. Flamora."

A huge ball of fire erupted from the end of her wand, catching Piper's clothes. "Concealo Incantait." Corranda's eyes glanced around as she cast the spell. Smoke and fire, the perfect mixture. But... Just in case things went wrong, should she call help for herself?

No, you can do this alone, Corranda.

Oh yussssss, I cannnn.... Corranda cackled loudly, at the thought.

Shai was suddenly awakened by the cold water around her. It was awakening, yet startling. After a few moments of well deserved grogginess she found herself laying over Brianna and Madeline. "Owwww", she groaned, "What's going on?"

She tried to sit up but it was to no avail, her head was pounding, and she was cold and shivering. After a few moments of deep concentration, she found herself reliving the past few moments, in a vision. Then, she snapped out of it, startled, and realized: a) her boss was passed out and b) the woman responsible for it was still on the loose, inside the office somewhere.

Alright, Shai, you gotta snap out of this girl! she thought panicking. She did the first thing that came to mind...lit a blue fire out of her wand next to Brianna in hopes to wake her up.

"Please let this work...please!" She howled to no one in particular.

Then her thoughts turned to the office, and she saw Piper and and ministry security man in the office rooting around for Corranda. Just then she saw a ball of flames erupt from out of nowhere heading straight for Piper! "Piper! Watch out!", she shouted, but it was too late, her robes were already on fire. "Aguamenti!" shouted Shai, and a stream of water erupted from her wand as she rushed into the office to try and save Piper.

Then in anger she shouted, "Show yourself you coward...also know as Corranda Melvicks. Can't win in a fair fight can you?" She felt anger taking over, not good for a seer. Calm down, she instructed herself...it would not be good to go into prophecy mode here...

Corranda snorted at Shai's words, clearly exasperated. "This is a fair duel, Levoooness," she barked out, loudly. "Or don't you know what a duel is, eh? Don't you? We use magic, and I'm using magic to stay invisible. Not my fault if my skills are more superior."

She looked back at Piper, infuriated to know that the fire was out. "A whole team of sick Ministry people against one poor, old lady who's a hundred and nine. You people don't even know the meaning of fair, who are you to tell me what's fair then, Levoness." Her words came out harsh, loud and curt, clearly meant to stung each and every hearer.

Still enraged, Corranda raised her wand. "Diffindo," she shouted out loud, pointing at the ceiling. A huge swab of cement, stone and plaster came right off, crashing down towards Piper and Shai.

Piper was sat on fire all of a sudden, she pointed her wand to clear the fire but Shai interfered and put down the fire. Thanking her for her help, Piper turned to hear Corranda speak before she noticed the ceiling falling down, she quickly acted on instinct and transfigurated the cement, stone and plaster into cerry blossom petals... But she was over yet, with a flick of her wand the petals ends turned sharpe and Piper opened her arms wide and watched the petal head to each corner of the office...
"Repulso!" she muttered as she pointed her wand at Shai that was pushed outside the office... "Im sorry Shai but I don't want you to get hurt..."
"Ufulo Ampelux!" Piper thought as she drew a small circle above her head... She knew that her illusion charm had been activated because she could see dementors appear from everyside of the room as it became more chilly and darker, she knew it was all a lie but she needed to make Corranda experience fear maybe that way she would decide to stop the havock she has created in the ministry.

Jeremy watched in horror as fire and ceiling fly towards Piper. She reacted of course but maybe not in the best of terms. If it was one ting that Jeremy knew it was not to egg on the one causing such mayhem. Looking back into the office he saw dementors. How in the world..? he thought with his mouth open. He would let Piper handle this for a second. He had to check on the others. He took his eyes off of the office and around at everyone else. Shai had been thrown out of the office by Piper. Bending down he put a hand out to her and grabbed her hand helping pull her up. "I guess she wants to do this alone." he told her as she was finally up. "we'll be back up" he said. He looked around. Brianna had passed out and Jayden was sleeping. A confused looking Madeline sat on the floor next to Brianna and Jayden. He looked back at SHai. "Can you help me make sure everyone is ok?" he asked as he bent down to Brianna who was passed out. Hegave her a shak on the shoulder. A gentle on but one that would at least help her up. "I think we are going to need some nurses." he told Shai. "Ill go get some. Can you keep an eye out here?' he asked. Heading to look for nurses

Brianna felt someone shaking her shoulder and groaned. Everything hurt, and she still felt sick. She struggled to open her eyes and saw Jeremy talking to Shai and then leaving. She turned her eyes to see into the remnants of her office and saw Piper alone in there. It appeared that dementors were wandering the room, but she felt no coldness, so that was strange. She blinked in confusion, then looked the other way. Madeline was leaning against the wall, not too far from where she was. She struggled to a sitting position, almost collapsing in exhaustion, "What's going on?" she whispered.

Jeremy walke back after a few minutes not able to find anurse but he had been able to grab his wand and maybe he could help. He was licensed to help anyway. HE saw BRianna had somewhat awaken but she looked confused as well. He gave a look into the room. there was Piper and the illusion charm still working. He strolled back over to Jayden, Brianna and Madeline. "ALright then?" he asked Brianna.

Brianna blinked up at Jeremy, she didn't know what 'alright' felt like anymore. It seemed as if this day had lasted forever, and that she'd been struggling for a lifetime against this woman, when in all reality it had only been a few hours. She nodded anyway, the others needed help more than she did, they should get help first. She pointed at Madeline and said, "I think she got the worst of the potions, help her first, I'm fine." She bit back a grimace as pain shot through her when she tried to sit up, trying to keep all of her expressions neutral. She had to get up and help Piper, that's all there was to it...Piper was the newest here, she couldn't do this alone!

Jeremy nodded at Brianna. He turned to look where Brianna was looking. Somehow he knew what she was thinking. "Here Ill help you up and you help her. She cant do it alone but iM no good at charms or I would help." he said as he held out a hand for Brianna to take. "I know your in pain, so am I but we can end this. Everyone just has to help right?" he asked as he gave her an encouraging smile.
