"True...." Salander nodded. Raiden was nice enough not to add himself to the list of people who either made him crawl like a dog or threatened him with bodily harm. He shifted his head when Evelyn spoke as a smirk played on his lips "...then again it seems that it would be more profitable for me if I do try to get you to come back here." he said as he gave him a knowing look, eying at all the girls hanging around the Slytherin Prefect. What would they give to get Raiden to at least cast his shadow on these hallowed halls once again? Salander can still have some fun and be rewarded for having Raiden show up at Hogwarts. Win-Win situtation if you ask him.

He looked up at both Mia and Lexi and smiled. Ah yes his summer plans.... "Ready as I'll ever be, yeah I'll be rockin' it in the coolest place on Earth." Literally. "What about you girls, what are your plans for the summer? You gonna be workin' on your tan?" Did he have to add that last bit? Yeah he did, since he wished he could work on his tan too with them. Not a lot of that happening if he was wrapped under layers of fabric from head to toe.

From the corner of his eye he saw a slight figure take a seat. "Hey Diggy..." he smirked "...how's the nose?" Well it took a full year but they're square now yeah?

He straightened up in his seat when the Headmaster stood and made his speech. He joined the cheers for Fletcher and their Bauxbaton and Durmstrang guests. It has been quite a change for the lad from the start of the school year. From getting entangled with a Durmstranger to actually hanging out with the Durmstrangers for the summer. Imagine that.

And Slytherin won the House Cup. Yeah baby yeah! Salander clapped and hooted for that loudest of all. For all the times he was motivated to do his homework on his own, he was doing it for the House Cup. Nah he's not competitive much.

As their Head of House approached their table, he quieted down. He clapped heartily for Evelyn when she was named the top student in the entire school. Then he heard his name called.

All of it.

Couldnt the Professor have just saved her breath and use his last name? Either nobody would know who she was referring to or people would think she was talking Gobbledegook. He didnt bother to stand but instead raised his goblet in acknowledgment, in some half hearted attempt to hide behind it. He has taken great care to keep his entire name for teachers' eyes only. Secret's out. Brilliant. he groaned inwardly.

He clapped for the rest of the Slytherins and proudly raised his goblet to toast Captain Curly, Iris the Peacemaker, and of course Champion Raiden. It was true, he may not have won for Slytherin, but Salander was very proud of how he played the game.

As he watched the Professor head back to the Staff table, her last words rang in his ears "I will see you returning students next term...." Wow no marching orders to pack up and get out, no formal but no less humiliating request of never to return the following year. He had to smile to himself. Yeah he had a good year didnt he?
