Then again, Miss Emerson did believe this to be an adventure.
"Healer Moretti." Di could have hugged the Healer, she was SO glad to see Lilyan. "I believe Miss Emerson -" She glanced at the... oddlittlechild - "Hit her head on a wall and fainted. She's been acting like this since she regained consciousness. Singing, thinking we're on an adventure, shouting that her forehead had disappeared." Or had that been her friend's forehead? Di had no real idea, to be honest. And she had a lesson to get back to. Quote:

"Thank you for bringing her to me, Professor." Really. Who was to say what exactly this girl would have gone off to had she not had someone to guide her?
Lilyan only needed to observe the child for a mere moment, before she could see for herself, that she was indeed acting odd. Reaching out, she tapped the girl's forehead, "There it is, it never left you." And then suddenly there was another child. Had she been there the whole time....?
"Of course I am the Healer, silly girl." Lily laughed, and shook her head lightly. "Don't worry about your friend, she's going to be fine." With a pat to the child's shoulder, she examined the girl's head, "Does it hurt at all?" Or were the only side effects the sillyness she was witnessing? |
