The she was...kissing him? What? This was very strange and new. No one other than Annie and his parents had ever kissed him. What was he supposed to do now? He could feel his cheeks flushing with blood. He eventually settled for looking at his knees again. "You're welcome," he said rather mechanically.
Enya raised her eyebrows at Lukas's enthuiasum over the date of there birthday's. Wow same day, different month, does it matter? She asked herself before she said,
"Yeah" Well what else was there to say, she didn't want to hurt his feelings because he was ill. Yeah she was going to say that, that was the reason she was going to tell herself.
Though she knew it wasn't true.
She smiled again at Lukas again before she looked down at her feet. She really didn't know why she had kissed him, it just sorta happened. It was sweet though. She looked up at Lukas again wondering what they were going to talk about now.
