You must be joking. She can be really excitable - when Ron made that joke on the train, when she made that wacky hat for the quidditch match, when they were about to take off on the thestrals. She can be very jumpy/excitable. Every character has their quiet moments, she just has a few more than others.

I don't think she's 'ewww' but intriguing and mysterious. I think Harry will think so too in HBP.
