Damien smirked at Van and nodded his head. "I'll swing back by your office after we secure the premises then," he said and his tone implied that he wanted to talk about other things as well.
Damien couldn't help but give another feral grin at the thought of finally getting to track and use his wide aray of skills at long last. Roughing up a few suspicious characters didn't seem like too bad an idea either. Oh this was going to be lovely. Lovely indeed.
Then he announced the pairings and Damien gave a triumphant smile and turned to look at the lady. Laurie was her name. Well well welll. Interesting. He rose from his seat and went to the table where he grabbed up a couple of sneakascopes, a foe glass, and a container that he knew to hold a potion that was something similar to a tear gas substance before he palmed a phial of the potion that Van had laid out earlier. Giving Van a look he said, "Talk with you later, chief."
Making his way toward the back of the room where Laurie stood he gave her a smile and said, "Damien Jackson. Looks like we'll be working together. Grab whatever you think you need from the table and I will be in the corridor." Yeah so his typical charm was gone for the moment but he was in work mode. The charm would come back once they got some stuff done. Heh. With that he went out into the corridor to wait. |
