He could see that Simon was getting worried, the younger boy looked terrified, and JD didn't know what else to really tell him. The younger boy starting to sink more into the soup then him, with JD being taller, he shook his head. Simon said he could swim, but how long could he go on.
The stench of the garlic was disgusting, and he knew it was going to take a lot to get the smell out. Dodging out of the way of one the brocolli trees he slips into the food, coming back up for air, dripping even more so, he wiped the food from his eyes and face, so he could see. "Professor, at least let Simon out please. I get it that we shouldn't have gone to muggle behavior."
Helping Simon he grabs his arm, trying to keep his head above the muck.
