Rolling her eyes at some of them, she was beginning to rethink her theory on this corridor being a good spot. Did they ever shut up?
Leaning against a rather empty part of a wall, surprisingly, the Slytherin tossed the toy in front of her, letting it lay against the floor in a small heap. Meep! Spider, prepare to be conquered! AGAIN! Figuring that it was safe enough at the moment, since there was no one but pesky portraits around, Evelyn raised her wand once more and created a figure eight in the air while saying, "Arania Exumai!"

Satisfied as the fluffy monster of death flew back and hit the ball behind it instead of rolling to the side like last time, Evelyn moved forward and set the thing back into place before going back to her original spot. Think her fear of spiders was improving?!
Perhaps.
Destiny didn't think Evelyn was ever going to stop walking. Creeping in the shadows without shoes on was not as fun as she had thought it would be. She was in the dorm and under her own bed! Why didn't she grab her other shoes?
Now she thinks about it. She could have run back to get them, but by the time she did all that, Evelyn would have moved on and Merlin knew where her next destination would be. No, it was fine without shoe. As long as she didn't step on anything.
Peeking around the corner, she had to shush a few of the portraits. Maybe threaten them with a fist..which only made them talk and scoff more.
"Will you shut up!? I am on a mission here!" A very important and highly dangerous mission at that. Can't be disturbed.
At least Evelyn shouldn't be that suspicious with her talking now, right? She wasn't the only one speaking this time.
