"Evanesco dust!""Reparo, Reparo!" The dust on the floor cleared and two desks resembled themsleves back to look as good as new. Remembering something Scarlett turned to look at Laura a bit wide-eyed "You don't think the figurines wrecked the conference room too?" She surely hoped not.
Laura dusted off her hands as she took a step back and inspected her work. Satisfied, she turned her attention to the rest of the work area. Things looked as if they went swimmingly with the cleaning up, and everything seemed to be in order again. She could almost forget that the whole figurine incident didn't happen. Almost.
As she took a seat at her desk, Laura leaned on her elbows and frowned at Scarlett's question.
"The conference room? Merlin, I hope not," she said, although she was skeptical about the conference room being in any sort of trouble since it was usually locked up. And she didn't recall the figurines going anywhere but the work area and Armen's office to wreak havoc. Still.
"You could send someone down, just in case," Laura suggested, to give the other division head some peace of mind. Then, she took off her glasses and brought over the pile of Broomstick Regulatory files front and center to begin sorting through them.
