It was getting towards the end of the year which meant studying, exams, last minute pranks, and heading home. Normally all of those things didn't bug her in the slightest unless one of those pranks happened to be played on her, but it was the last part that was really getting to her this year.

Evelyn had been rather great during the first months of summer, switching off from living at Destiny's and the new house Rae was kindly sharing with her. She didn't know why she was so upset about it now though. It was what she wanted wasn't it? To get away from...her parent's hateful stare? From the stupid house? That held that stupid room and the stupid books that...and that stupid little brother!? However, it was not the same this time around. The Slytherin was beginning to realize that perhaps, she made a mistake. She admitted to herself finally, that this was her fault and she set herself up for this, yet, she always thought her parents would one day forgive and forget. What she failed to think of though, was that day wouldn't be coming any time soon. If ever.

Kicking a rock as hard as she could, the scowl and angry glare on her face was slowly turning to one of misery and sadness. Feeling so useless and tired, the fourteen year old girl decided to go for a walk, and it wasn't surprising that she ended up here. Close to the front gate was she? The tops of the black gate was noticeable, so the Slytherin must have been close. She had dreams of making it through and running home, to open arms. Only dreams though.

O___O!!! What in the world was that!?

Hopping behind a rather large tree, the Slytherin peaked her head out to see who was screaming about an eight legged freak. That could mean only one thing. Those eight legged demon monsters were nearby. Omg! OMGOMGOMG. Wand. Ready. There. Okay. Right. Please, someone tell her, nobody saw her. She didn't want to be eaten! Heck, she couldn't even remember the spell right now for those, little...big...things...
