Hmm... he didn't return the greeting. Was he still mad at her? Even though she did agree to come with him? If he really wanted to try this again that probably wasn't the best way of convincing her.
"You look lovely as well." she said with a smile. "I adore your hat."
Which was true. Monique loved hats.
She then noticed Noel and his date arrived. She smiled and wiggled her fingers in their direction. Looks like he took one of those girls that were always around him.
