The door to the conference room opened, and the Minister stepped inside, a smile on her face and a dangling briefcase by her side. She paused for a moment to a mental headcount...annddd, nope, not everyone was here just yet. Ahh, well. If she prolonged things any further, she'd be far too behind in her daily schedule of meetings.

Pulling out a chair at the end of the table, Allie turned to the team and said, "Well, hello there. First off, I appreciate all of you arriving here in a timely manner. We're actually waiting on two others, but I expect they'll be here shortly," she said. She grew silent as she took a seat and got herself settled. It wasn't that she expected to be here for a prolonged period of time, but she did want to be comfortably seated regardless.

"The purpose of today's meeting is to regroup ourselves as a team and begin the process of moving forward with a new Minister, myself, and a fairly new Department Head team," she continued, her eyes traveling the room as she spoke. "We've had a fair amount of changes in staff over the course of a year, and I'd like to take this time for everyone to get to know the members of the team they have yet to be introduced to."

"What I'd like for you to do now, if you haven't done so already, is to introduce yourself to those you're unfamiliar with. While you're doing that, Mr. Bole--a word with you, please?" she said, directing her attention to Evander.
