So somebody HAD knocked. "Please come in, Arya." He directed the girl sprawled across the couch outside with a small smile. Already half-turned to walk back into his office, his eyes fell on his door...which had acquired some additional decoration. Was that gum? "What's up with that?" Jeremy turned back to the Hufflepuff with a small grin playing around his lips. He was pretty sure that there hadn't been any gum on his door before.
This couch was so comfortable. Comfortable enough to fall asleep on. And if she hadn't done just that in the library, she would have. Heh. The girl was content laying on the couch letting her eyes drift lazily around the room when the gum covered door opened to reveal the Muggle Studies Professor.
Pulling herself out of her reverie, she allowed a smile to cross her face as she rolled off the couch and began skipping over to the office, steps faltering a bit when he asked about the gum. Her eyes flicked to the two pieces of gum stuck to his door. Amazing how quickly she had forgotten about it once she had 'knocked'.
Tell the truth or lie. The truth.....a lie. The truth...
"I thought your door could use a bit of....decoration." Her smile turned grin miiight have given away that she was lying. Probably.
"I could add more if you like." Or she could take those pieces back and give them to Destiny. Hehe.
Without really waiting for much of a response, she skipped by the tall professor to inspect the office.
