Tate actually wasn't looking forward to having to walk in; alone. She knew no one, really. Only Eri, and that friendship had only started up again now that they were both working here.
Nonetheless she had left her office, as soon as the owl had arrived, and she'd had time to read it. It wasn't necessarily a long walk to her destination, but it felt almost like a walk of shame. Like when you were in school, and you had been a badly behaved student, and you got requested to your Head of House's office? Like that walk of shame, really.
The brunette tidied up her barnet as she walked, and quickly checked there was nothing left of the pumpkin pasty she'd been nicely eating previously, around her mouth. Which, thankfully, there was none.
Deciding against saying anything, she just took a seat next to Erica, and gave her a smile.
Smiles were good.
Erica's head flicked up as she saw someone familiar walking it. Her face lit up slightly, thankful that Tate had made it, her being the only person whom she knew within the Ministry that wasn't one of her employees and even them she didn't actually know too well yet.
"Morning Tate" she smiled, deciding that she would be the first one to talk considering the other hadn't actually said anything. Nerves maybe? It was their first meeting since both had been appointed.
"Are you okay?" the Blonde asked slightly concerned that she hadn't said anything, though the smile was a good sign. Her head scanned around the room at the other Department Heads that had obviously also got the owl message and she sent each one a smile, even if she didn't know them.
So, why were they here again?

The thirty-one year olds nose twitched slightly as a really pleasant smile wafted into the room. Was that....COOKIES? She hadn't had a batch of them in a VERY long time. Since Hogwarts maybe?
"They smell Gorgeous" the Magical Creatures head grinned over at the woman that had entered.
"I'm Erica by the way. Erica Radley" she smiled, better introduce herself then, seeing as this was probably the best opportunity to actually do that. She wasn't sure whether to try a cookie now or wait for everyone else to get there first.

Erica's attention was drawn over at a new voice however once she had realised that they were talking to her and Tate.

"I'm Erica Radley, Magical Creatures" she introduced herself to both the guy talking and the one he had introduced.
"It's great to meet you...both" she nodded at the other whilst still smiling.
This was a FANTASTIC opportunity to meet everyone else in the Ministry, seeing as she hadn't actually had the opportunity to do so yet.
