Carter blinked a few times. "I don't think you understand the situation..." he said. "I tried to apologize for... the love potion/snogging her best mate thing. It's the first thing that I did when I had my proper mind back." he said. "She wouldn't hear it and walked away though." he said.

He then shrugged. "Yeah. I guess you're right." he said. At the rate he and Marie were making up though he highly doubted there was any type of a future there. Which was too bad. He missed her a lot.

"Really?" he asked about the shark fact. "I guess that's why I always see them swimming. At aquariums." he said. He then thought for a minute. What was another interesting fact?

"Did you know crocodiles swallow rocks to help them digest their food?" he asked.

Ehh... that probably wasn't the best tidbit to share over a meal with a vegetarian.
