Having been looking at all their faces, Maya turned towards the first person who spoke up. And was wrong.
"No, this is not an Acromantula. Quote:

"Aaaa...ahem" half yell followed by a false coughing that was. What an ugly thing the Professor held! Brugh! Louisa was right, she should have never come down here!
The little girl hugged her knees while raising her hand shakily. "That.. is a giant spider, Professor?" Eeew! Please don't be the theme of our lesson today, please, please, she thought desperately.
It could be some pet the Professor just bought and wanted to show it to them, right? right??

And...how come he didn't notice the vivarium over there? Oh, right, the fire. The pretty flameees. Back to the class, the boy's hand shot up in the air, and then back down, "A spider, a big hairy one..." he shrugged, and you can put it right in the vivarium now, didn't she notice the kids who were freaking out? He didn't mind the spider, he had his wand *evil grin* if the thing wanted to hurt him, then he'd defend himself.
Hm?
"Yes... This is a spider. But what kind?" Quote:

Run away or something. Straight out of the lesson.
*Shudder*
"It's a....a..." Trix was shaking too much to answer "Tarantula...or a spider...or an eight legged creepy thing" the girl gulped so hard it echoed across the grounds. Her eyes would not look at that creepy species and they almost wetted with tears anyway.
Yes she was terrified.
"Yes. Correct you are." The Mexicana nodded at the students who had answered...correctly. But,
"If I hear you scream one more time, Miss Malfoy, I will ask you to leave this class." Like, really.
But, apparently this was a school full of screamers.

....O____O!!
"SPIDER!!!" Apparently, she wasn't going to be warm this lesson. Scooting away from the professor, she struggled to stand up before stumbling to the back of the class. That spider was HUGE! Get'itaway! KILL IT!
Throw it into the fire! It won't be able to hurt them then.

The whole area spun, forcing her to grab Trixie's arm, as she in turn grabbed Sarah's, and take deep breaths. Edging away from the teacher, she pointed at it rather than put her hand in the air.
"I...I...Spider!"
She wasn't going to faint. She wasn't...she wasn-....she did.
Inhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaale of deep breath. "Sileeeeeeeeeeeeeence!" Oh, poor poor tarantula. It moved a bit in her palm when all the screaming began and it definitely moved when Maya bellowed.
"I will not have people shouting in my class!"
Eh, someone fainted? But, why?
The Mexicana's dark eyes fell on the girl, but she ignored her...for now.
"You!" Pointing to ALL the screamers.
"Treat this creature with respect. Your screams will not help you and it will definitely not put the spider to ease." Oh, and most importantly.
"If anyone else screams, I will take points." Quote:

Hide the spider? Maybe the
girl should hide. And her friends were not helping. At all.
"Girls! Stay calm and be quiet!" Maya did not want a headache today, thankyou very much.
"She has merely fainted." Annoyiiing.
"Let her be for a minute and she'll come around." Or get escorted to the Hospital Wing. Whatever.
"Now. If I may continue." She wasn't asking permission.
"This is infact a Tarantula. Some of you mentioned that it resembled an Acromantula. Indeed it does. We shall be learning more about Acromantulas this evening." She squinted at them all. They'd better not whine.
"Who can tell me what classification the Ministry has given these magical spiders?" Hmmmmmmmmm?
