O_____O
WHOA! Green apple, that thing was sour. Instantly his eyes squinted shut and his lips puckered up as the sour taste hit his tongue, This was not heaven, this was torture. Did Rhea really like this stuff or did she just want to see him make a funny face? Luckily her back was to him when he made that face. "Zis iz..." not what he expected. "...zour. I zought candy waz suppozed to be sweet?" He quickly swallowed that bite and tried to make his face look normal again before she seen him looking all goofy.
Holding what was left of that piece of candy in his hand he still was not convinced that candy was such a great thing. Nope, he still had not tried the right one.
"Well why wouldn't I be sweet to you? You are a loevly, beautiful girl." 'When you're not giving me sour candy.' He said as he followwed her down the aisle while she continued to pick out different candies. After that first one she gave him he could not promise that he would try anymore. She would have to convince him that there was better candy than this one and that would be no easy task.
"Well you will 'ave to intorduce me to her someday." He said when she told him about her cousin. He needed to make some more friends here. He really hadn't gotten to know many of the Hogwarts students and the term was half over.
Rhea was busy piling candy into her basket as she spoke to Jermaine, she always bought a ridiculous amount of candy whenever she visited honeydukes, not that she could eat it all, but she just liked having them, just in case she was having a crappy day or if she was ran into a little first year who was having one. In any case they came in handy if she needed to bribe her little brother when she got home. He loved honeydukes stuff.
She had seen him make a face through the corner of her eyes and she couldn't help but chuckle to herself. She didn't want to laugh out right just in case that caused him to not want to try anymore. As he began to speak however, she turned around to look at him, an amused smile still lingering on her lips. Jermaine was so funny.
She laughed, she couldn't help it. She had gotten so used to the sweet and sour taste of the green apple flavoured wand, so it didn't cause her cheeks to tighten anymore but Jermaine's expression was priceless.
" it is?" she truly sounded a bit surprized.
"its suppose to be sweet but sour" she giggled. She couldn't help it. Yeah Jermaine was fun.
She shrugged at his question. Not everyone was nice to people, regardless of that person being nice or not. It was true though that one person may not even realise that they are indeed being mean to the other person, yeah she had been in that situation twice since the school year started. In anyways Jermaine had been awesome. She was flattered however when he told her she was beautiful. Considering how conflicted she was feeling because of all the crap going on, the compliment was welcomed.
" thank you Jermy, I have to admit you're quite handsome yourself." she winked at him and smiled.
" oh you'll be meeting her very soon and you're really going to love her! She's like one of my closest friends here and she's really sweet, a bit fiery, well a lot fiery, but still sweet." she looked at her basket, it was almost full but she was missing something.
" see any interesting looking candies? I don't know what else to get" she smiled sheepishly at him.
