He knew what it was...having been exposed to muggle items like it since his childhood and he tried to remember some of the characteristics of it that might be useful to a potion especially a bone-regernation one.
"Its Jello, Professor, a type of gelatin," he supplied after raising his hand. "And if I'm not mistaken gelatin is processed collogen...a protein found in bones among other things," he added as it came to mind hoping it was right for once.
