Nobody wanted a bad back. Setting the boxes down in front of him, bending his knees, like he'd learnt when he was younger (to NEVER bend your back, always bend your knees) and straightened his posture again.
To be honest, he wasn't even ashamed of the boxes of sweets, more proud than anything else. Proud that he actually had enough money for it all, that and his sweet tooth couldn't not let him buy all of this just because it may be embarrassing. Pfft.
Ah. He'd missed the French. "I .. uhh, I know. Been busy I guess." With adoptive parents and long lost twins. Yeah, you could say that was 'busy'. Jack felt kinda strange that he wasn't flirting with her. it was as if it had been switched off somehow and freaked him out slightly. She was beautiful, and usually around beautiful girls, Jack couldn't help himself, but every time he thought about doing so, Rhea would pop into his head. Whatever, a little 'darling' and 'love' here and there would be just fine, right? "I've been good thankyou, love." He smiled, stepping towards her a little. "And what about you? I see that you've befriended that .. french ... Noel ... guy." Actually, Jack knew EXACTLY who he was, but only because Savannah had told him something quicte worrying that he hadn't really discussed with Rhea yet. All in good time.
Cosette watched as he bent down to put the boxes on the floor, no doubt that they could talk more normally than just her talking to a tower of talking boxes. Now that would definitely raise some questions to one by passerbys. She didn't need a new reputation as the crazy girl from when she used to be the lethal girl. Non, not something she needed.
Twirling the blood pop in her mouth, her eyes looking like an uncanny cat luring in on its prey, she smiled before moving so she could lean an arm on one of the shelves. Crossing her booted feet at her ankles, she cocked her head to the side. Still her trademark stance.
"Zo, 'ow iz ze girlfriend?" She still hadn't met the girl, now seen what she looked like. Jack must be keeping her far away from her. She would like to meet her at least.
"What 'ave you been up to, amour?" She twirled the lollipop in her fingers, letting it dance on it's stick. Her whole mouth was turning a deep crimson red, almost giving off the appearance like she had just turned vampire and drunk someone's blood. Still, not a reputation she wanted.
Hearing Noel's name, her eyes slanted at him. So he had heard about that? She couldn't blame him knowing, they were together a few places. Three Broomsticks, the Courtyard, all the Tasks. It was bound to be noticable.
"Oui, we 'ave been getting razher cloze, az of late." She couldn't help it. They were drawn together. As much as she hated admitting it, she really did like him.
