No. No, she wouldn't even go there, because if she did she would get angry and the result of that would be breaking every glass bottle in the store over James's head.

Her eyes ran over the products in the store. She was buy a whole lot of things- courtesy of Parker of course. "Common Sense 101. That's where it all starts." Enough said. "You would know that if you had a bit of common sense. Children with other women were bound to happen." He acted like a fourteen year old teenage boy.

"Why am I here?" She turned and faced him her brown eyes looking over him to make sure that he was serious. Which she wasn't used to."Because, although I might not seem like that person who gives a hell about anyone. I don't think people should have to suffer. And you seemed like you were out there."

Annd of course he was back to being an arrogant jerk. What else was new? She could practically see the headache coming. "My destiny? MY DESTINY Parker?" She had no clue to reply to that. Facing him she punched him hard in the stomach. Moving close to him her voice came out in a whisper. "If you ever say something like that again, trust me I'll do something much worse than pouring coffee in your lap. I'll make sure you'll never have kids again." Obviously though he wanted that. Soo if it was her "destiny" to help him she should do just what he wanted.

Lyric rolled her eyes ignoring the English slang as she picked up a bottle of Moisturizer from the shelf. Sunshine O'Shimmer was always a good brand. Looking over the bottle she gave him a nood. "Punishment. Yes."

The journalist flinched as he repeated the word wild. Honestly, she wasn't going to take this. She had her share of James insulting her again and again. It had even happened the first time they met. This just was not working. Lyric closed her eyes, as if she were trying to gather her thoughts. After a few minutes she opened her eyes, and put the bottle back on the self. "Nice to know." She said with a nod toward Parker, looking past him and not at him. "You know what James? I think we are done here. WE don't need to speak to each other, other than at work. I wish you best of luck with your whole baby situation." Strolling past him she made her way over to the other aisle.
While Lyric concluded one thing, James concluded another. Lyric can't be a woman. Maybe she was an elf..
James didn't really care what she was, he was just disappointed. She was ruining his record. ALL women liked the Parker musk. It was delicious. DEL-icious. Every woman that was. He didn't understand. So far he'd been infallible.

James snorted. She was COPYING him. He had just said an AWESOME joke and she'd copied him. He pouted. He didn't like it that she was ALWAYS right. He rolled his eyes. "Flirting does NOT lead to babies.." Seriously. Otherwise Parker would've had at least thirty kids.

*shudder*

James blinked at her explanation. Suffering. He frowned. Did that mean she actually cared? James couldn't remember the last time that'd..
He didn't let his mind drift to that. He was better than that.

"I'm .. thanks, Lyric.." James said, slowly. He stopped looking like such a cocky twat and actually sobered, sending her a small smile.
"I needed.. someone. Thank you again.." He said this, slowly, uncertain with the gushy feeling that was actually sincere. He squirmed. He wasn't good with apologies. Not when they were to women who weren't fawning over him.

Especially when he actually meant them.

And the moment was over. It lasted about as long as his relationships. He was going to smirk darkly when suddenly her small, hard fist came into contact with his stomach. He keeled over, 'oooof', eyes watering and cringing.
"Merlin, Lyric," James forced out, clutching the shelf for support. That had bloody hurt.

How could she be so mean? She WAS wild. Man..

He massaged his stomach and limped after her. He couldn't believe he was doing this but.. "Lyric. Can you STOP physically abusing me?" Please? His tummy hurt now.

And then she was leaving. James straightened. "...Wait! Lyric.." He reached in a few long strides. ".. I don't really know how to friends with you.." He tried to grin, putting on the cocky façade but he shrugged and tried to look sincere. "Usually I just flirt.. and it doesn't work with you.. " And James didn't really know what to do with that.

"I don't just want to talk to you at work.." Lyric was sort of nice when she didn't want to kill you.
