After hopping inconspicuously through the crowd composed of Muggles and a few witches and wizards, the boot portkey found the people it was sent to. A small group of witches and wizards were grouped together looking confused and a bit beaten up. The boot began to hop around and get their attention so they would touch it and be sent back to the office!

Laura was cut off in her thank you to her helpful fellow division head by something strangely out of place. At least, on a Muggle sidewalk. She turned her eyes mid-sentence toward whatever it was that was hopping around nearby. Brown, old, and ugly; she recognized it immediately as an enchanted boot. Oh, how ironic it was.

Amused by the way the boot was hopping about, Laura turned full-body toward it. It was silly, but no Muggles were stopping to gawk at it, and she had to remind herself about how unaware of their surroundings non-magical people could be. Seriously, it was a boot. Hopping. On it's own. Come on.

Laura grinned a little at the magical boot. Boots were one of her most favorite type of shoe, but the old, holey, manky kind of boot had become like a well-known symbol in the wizarding world. Especially, at least, in the Ministry Transportation department. Boots equaled Portkeys! She took a step toward the boot, which she was certain was a Portkey, and paused, looking around at the others.

"Okay, everyone. Here's our ticket back," she announced. Her eyes met everyone in the group to make sure that they all understood to touch the Portkey to be transported back and no one would be left behind. "Armen's probably sent it and is waiting in the office. Which most likely means he's got control over the figurine situation," Laura said. "Meet you all back there."

Then, she reached down for the boot. And poofed.

When Laura stopped talking mid-sentence Scarlet at first thought it was a tad rude before she took notice of something that was hopping around on the sidewalk. On a muggle sidewalk magical things were a rare sight and something usually frown upon considering the fact that muggles weren’t supposed to know that magic existed.

Scarlet studied the old, brown and quite battered boot as it hopped around seemingly trying to catch someone’s attention. The muggle’s walking past and around the little group didn’t stop or even glance in the boots direction which made Scarlett think that it had a purpose. Smirking she watched as Laura once again took charge of the situation.

The Boot was of course a PORTY KEY. As Laura explained to the other employee’s that the boot had been sent by Mr Recard to let them know that things were under control again Scarlet just eyed the thing with distaste. The port key was in her opinion the WORST means of transportation ever created. The blond senior division head disappeared with a poof.

Turning to the employees milling about she said "What are you ALL waiting for? Hop to it! Mr Recard is waiting for us." Not having any patience to wait to see if the employees had any queries or concern’s the dark haired woman took a hold of the port key and Poofed!
